    methyl salicylate:

The common symptoms include: vomiting, dehydration, tinnitus, dizziness, deafness, sweating, rapid breathing and increasing ventilation. Acid-base balance disorders are present in most cases.

Metabolic acidosis and alkaline alkaline infection with normal or high arterial pH (normal or reduced H+ ionic concentration) are common in adults and children over 4 years old.

Children 4 years of age or less often have metabolic acidosis mainly with low arterial pH (increased H+ ion concentration). Acidic infection can increase the amount of salicylate through the brain barrier.

Symptoms are less common, including: vomiting of blood, fever, hypoglycemia, hypokalemia, platelets, increased Inr/PTR, intravascular coagulation, kidney failure and pulmonary edema.

Symptoms on the central nervous system: Confusion, loss of orientation, coma and seizures are less common in adults than children.

    Management:

Take activated carbon if swallowing a significant amount of methyl salicylate within 1 hour after poisoning occurs. Salicylate concentration should be measured in plasma.

Salicylate's elimination increases when alkaline urine, can be achieved when using 1.26% sodium bicarbonate. Should monitor the urine pH. Treatment of metabolic acidosis by intravenous injection of 8.4% sodium bicarbonate (first of all must check the concentration of potassium blood).

Do not use forced diuretic because it does not increase the elimination of salicylat but can cause pulmonary edema.

Hemorrhage is a therapy selected for severe poisoning and should consider when the salicylate concentration in plasma is greater than 700 mg/l (5.1 mmol/l), or low concentration but serious clinical symptoms or serious metabolic characteristics.

Patients under 10 years old or over 70 years of age increases the risk of Salicylate poisoning and may require dialysis at an early stage.

    camphor:

Swallowing or overdose can lead to Camphor poisoning, symptoms including vomiting, vomiting, epigastric pain, headache, dizziness, burning of throat, delusion, muscle convulsions, seizures, central nervous inhibition and coma.

may have difficulty breathing and breathing with a characteristic smell, anuria, death from respiratory failure or epilepsy; The case of death in children with a dose of 1g or more.

    Management:

Supporting care, including anti -seizures, is the main therapy for the treatment of Camphor poisoning: gastric lavage can be considered for patients with poisoning within 1 hour; First of all, control the convulsions. Can use activated carbon by oral.
