Uses
indications
Hydrocolacyl 5 mg khapharco is indicated in the following cases:
Inflammation: Any disease, characterized by pulse leukocytes and infected with inflamed tissue. Glucocorticoids inhibit these phenomena. Glucocorticoid uses systemic sugars to reduce the number of lymphocytes, eosin cells, monon cell leukocytes in peripheral blood and reduce their movement into inflamed areas. Glucocorticoid also inhibits the function of lymphocytes and tissue macrophages.
In addition to the effect of the white blood cells, glucocorticoids also affect inflammation response by reducing prostaglandin synthesis due to phospholipase inhibition A2.
Glucocorticoid reduces capillary permeability due to inhibition of the activity of kinin and bacterial internal toxins and reduces the amount of hydrophilia by base leukocytes.

Prednisolon binds to protein about 90 - 95%. The clearance of Prednisolon is: 8.7 ± 1.6 ml/min/kg. The distribution of the drug is: 1.5 ± 0.2 liters/kg.
Prednisolon is metabolized in the liver and metabolites are the form of sulfate and glucuronide ester excreted into the urine. The half -life of Prednisolon is approximately 1.7 - 2.7 hours.

How to use
oral medication.
Dosage
drugs sold as prescribed, used as directed by the physician.
Dosage and usage depending on the disease to be treated.
The starting dose for adults can be from 5 - 60 mg/day, divided into 2-4 times.
Dosage for children can be from 0.14 - 2 mg/kg/day, divided into 4 times.
Note: The above dose is for reference only. Specific dosage depends on the condition and level of progression of the disease. For a suitable dose, you need to consult a doctor or medical specialist. What to do when overdose?
Management: Reduce the dose and then stop the drug.
What to do when you forget a dose? However, if close to the next dose, skip the forgotten dose and take the next dose at the time as planned. Note that it should not be used double the prescribed dose.
Side Effects
When using Hydrocolacyl 5 mg khapharco, you may experience unwanted effects (ADR).
Common, ADR> 1/100
Uncommon, 1/1000 Other: Hypersensitivity reaction. Instructions on how to handle ADR Acute indications, except leukemia and anaphylaxis, should use glucocorticoids at the lowest doses and in the shortest time of clinical effect. After long -term treatment with glucocorticoid, there is a possibility of inhibiting the hypothalamus - pituitary - adrenal gland, so it is imperative to reduce the dose of glucocorticoids by step by step, instead of sudden stopping. Prednisolon's dose reduction process may be applied: 3 to 7 days of reducing 2.5 - 5 mg, until the physiological dose of Prednisolon is approximately 5 mg. If the disease is worse when it is reduced, increasing the dose of prednisolon and then reducing the prednisolon dose slowly. Applying treatment to avoid continuous contact with drugs with pharmacological effects. Using a single dose of the day causes less ADR than the doses of division of the day and the most way to reduce the good measure to minimize the inhibition of the adrenal glands and minimize other ADRs. In Japanese therapy, there are two days using a single dose, in the morning. Monitor and periodically evaluate the parameters of osteoporosis, hemorrhage, glucose intolerance, eye effects and blood pressure. Preventive gastric and duodenal ulcerative prophylaxis with antihistamine or proton pump inhibitors when taking high doses of corticosteroids. All patients treated with long -term with glucocorticoids need additional calcitonin, calcitriol and additional calcium to prevent osteoporosis. People who are likely to be inhibited by glucocorticoids should be warned about the likelihood of infection. Patients who are about to have surgery may have to use glucocorticoid supplements and respond to normal with stress that has been reduced due to the inhibition of hypothalamus - pituitary - adrenal glands. Note: Notify the doctor the unwanted effects encountered when using the drug.
Warnings
Before using the drug you need to read the instructions carefully and refer to the information below.
Contraindicated
Hydrocolacyl 5 mg khapharco contraindicated in the following cases:
Skin infections of viral, fungi or tuberculosis; Using a live virus vaccine.
Caution when using
Use cautiously in people with osteoporosis, newly connected people (intestines, blood vessels), mental disorders, stomach ulcers, duodenum ulcers, diabetes, hypertension, heart failure and growing children.
Due to the risk of unwanted effects, caution must be used with all body corticosteroids for the elderly, with the lowest and shortest doses possible.
Acute adrenal insufficiency may occur when stopping the drug suddenly after a long time of treatment or when stressed.
When using high doses, it can affect the effect of vaccinations.
The ability to drive and operate machinery
Dizziness should be carefully used for drivers and operating machinery.
Pregnancy
Using prednisolon for a long -term body for mothers can lead to a decrease in babies' eating, using high -dose Prednisolon in the body can cause the risk of adrenal prolapse in newborns. Using Prednisolon in pregnant women requires a consideration of benefits that can be achieved compared to the risks that may occur with mother and child.
The period of breastfeeding
Prednisolon secretes breast milk with less than 1% of the dose and may not be clinically significant. Be careful when using Prednisolon for breastfeeding women.
Drug interaction
prednisolon is a cytochrom P450 enzyme induction, and is the substrate of the P450 CYP3A enzyme, so this drug affects the metabolism of cyclosporin, erythromycin, phenobarbital, phenytoin, carbamazepin, ketoconazol, ketoconazol, ketoconazole Rifampicin.
Phenytoin, Phenobarbital, Rifampicin and diuretics decreased blood potassium may reduce the effect of prednisolon.
Prednisolon can cause hyperglycemia, so higher insulin dose is needed.
Avoid simultaneous use of prednisolon with nonsteroidal anti -inflammatory drugs as it can cause stomach ulcers.
Storage
less than 30 ° C, cool dry place, avoid light.
