metronidazol
Metronidazol is a derivative 5 - nitro - imidazole, has a broad spectrum on virgin animals such as amoeba, giardia and in anaerobic bacteria.
Metronidazol is a very strong drug in the treatment of primeval animal infections such as Entamoeba Histolytica, Giardia Lamblia and Trichomonas Vaginalis. Metronidazole has bactericidal effects on bacteroides, fusobacterium and other mandatory anaerobic bacteria, but does not have the effect on narrow bacteria. When infected with both anaerobic and anaerobic bacteria, Metronidazol must be combined with other antibacterial drugs.
Trichomonas vaginalis infection can be treated with Metronidazol oral oral oral use. Both women and men must be treated, because men can carry pathogens without symptoms. In many cases of coordination treatment of vaginal drug and tablets.
When bacterial/vaginal inflammation is caused by bacterial/vagina, Metronidazol will cause the vaginal bacteria to return to normal in the majority of patients who use Metronidazol drugs that do not impact on the normal vaginal bacteria. When gynecological infections such as endocarditis from bacterial and abscesses need to combine metronidazol with a beta lactam antibiotic, such as a new generation cephalosporin.
Metronidazol strains have been shown to contain low ferredoxin, which is a catalytic protein when chemical metronidazol in those strains. Ferredoxine decreases but not completely lost, probably explain why infections with those strains respond to higher Metronidazol doses and longer.
miconazole nitrate
miconazol is a synthetic Inidazol drug that has anti -fungal effects on types such as Aspergillus, Blastomyces, Candida, Cladosporium, Coccidioides, Epidermophyton, Histoplasma, Madhurella, Pityrosporon, Microscide, Paracoccidioides, Phialophora, PhialoPhora, Pseuderian and Pseu Trichophyton.
Miconazole also works with Gram -positive bacteria. Miconazole inhibits the synthesis of ergosterol in the fungal cell membrane that inhibits the growth of the fungal bacteria cells.
pharmacokinetic
metronidazole
Put a single dose of 5g gel into the vagina (equal to 37.5 mg of metronidazol), the average serum metronidazole concentration is 237 nanogam/ml (from 152 to 368 nanogam/ml). This concentration is about 2% of Metronidazol concentration Maximum average serum after drinking once 500 mg of metronidazol (the average CMAX is 12,785 nanogam/ml). These peak concentrations reached 6 - 12 hours after using the gel in the vagina and 1-3 hours after taking Metronidazol.
The degree of exposure to the drug (an area below the AUC curved) when used single in the vagina 5 g of Metronidazol Gel (equivalent to 37.5 mg) is about 4% AUC when drinking once 500 mg of metronidazol (4977 nanogam - hour/ml and 125 000 nanograms - hours/ml). Compare AUC on the basis of Mg with Mg of 2 ways to prove that the absorption of Metronidazol when using the vagina is only half when taken if used equally.
miconazole nitrate
When used outside, miconazole absorbs through the skin's charism and absorbs into the blood below 1%. But if placed in the vagina, it will absorb the blood of less than 1.3%.
When using intravenous lines, transmitted at a dose higher than 9 mg/kg body weight, plasma concentration reaches higher than 1 microgram/1 ml. There is a high percentage of miconazole sensitive mushrooms inhibited by blood -micrograms of 2 micrograms/noodles or less. The metabolism of miconazol by intravenous line through 3 stages: half -life in the first phase of about 0.4 hours, the period between 2.5 hours and half -life eliminating the radio to about 24 hours. In the blood, about 90% miconazole is attached to plasma proteins and is converted in the liver into substances that no longer work. 10-20% excreted in urine in the form of metabolized.
