Uses

indications

Ladyvagi drug is indicated in the following cases:

  • Treatment on the spot of vaginitis caused by sensitive bacteria and nausical vaginitis.

    ATC code: G01AA51.

Neomycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that has a bactericidal effect through inhibiting bacterial protein biosynthesis, by attaching a 30S subunit of sensitive bacterial ribosom. Neomycin is mainly used to treat infections in the skin, ears, eyes caused by staphylococcus and other sensitive bacteria.

Nystatin is a polyene, anti -fungal antibiotic extracted from streptomyces noursei mushroom culture. Nystatin has the effect of restraining or eliminating fungi depending on the concentration and sensitivity of the fungus, not affecting the normal bacteria on the body. The most sensitive is yeast and has a very good effect on Candida Albicans. Nystatin tolerates well even when long -term treatment and does not cause drug resistance.

Polymyxin B has a bactericidal effect. The drug is attached to phospholipids that change the permeability and change the bacterial cell membrane structure, causing leaks of internal components.

Polymyxin B works on most Gram -negative bacteria, except Proteus spp .. Polymyxin B is used on the spot, often in combination with other drugs to treat skin, eyes, ears and some other bacterial infections caused by sensitive bacteria.

    Dynamic pharmacokinetics

Neomycin is poorly absorbed through the gastrointestinal tract (3%), about 97% of oral dose is excreted in the form of unchanged in feces. The absorption of drugs may increase when the mucosa is inflamed or damaged.

When absorbed, the drug will quickly excreted through the kidneys in the form of activity. The sale time of the drug is about 2-3 hours.

About 0 - 30% of the drug is attached to protein, the integral distribution of 0.36 liters/kg.

Nystatin is poorly absorbed through the gastrointestinal tract, not absorbed through the skin or mucosa when used on the spot, excreting mainly in the feces in the form of unprocessed.

Polymyxin B Sulfate absorbs well through the peritoneal; do not absorb through the gastrointestinal tract; Not significantly absorbed through the mucosa and skin intact or peeling off the outer coating as in the case of severe burns.
