Letrozsun is the first therapy in metastatic breast cancer/progressing in menopausal women (positive or unknown hormone receptors).

Pharmacokology

Letrozole is a selective Non-Stomatase enzyme inhibitor. Letrozole inhibits aromatase enzyme by connecting with the heme of this enzyme P450 cell pigment, leading to a reduction in estrogen biosynthesis in all tissues.

Letrozole is effective against cancer by taking away the breast cancer dependent of estrogen of tumor stimulation agents.
