MECEFIX - B.E is indicated for the following cases of infections caused by sensitive bacteria:

Upper respiratory tract infections: bacterial pharyngitis, tonsillitis , otitis media, sinusitis.

Pharmacokological

cefixim is an antibacterial and stable antibiotic under the hydrolysis of many beta - lactamase. Cefixim is the third -generation cephalosporin antibiotic. Like other cephalospins, the bactericidal effect of cefixim is due to inhibition of cell wall synthesis. Cefixim stabilizes high in the presence of many beta - lactamase enzymes. Thanks to this result, many bacteria are resistant to penicillin and some cephalosporin in the presence of beta - lactamase enamel may be sensitive to cefixim.

Cefixim has been shown that the activity for most of the following bacteria strains on both in vitro and clinical infections:

How to use

Adults and children over 12 years old

Patients with renal failure
