Uses

indications

Medi-Neuro Ultra drugs are indicated in the following cases:

  • Treatment of neuritis, multiple neuritis due to Viamin deficiency (vitamin B1) and pyridoxine (vitamin B6) (for example in diabetes) or drugs such as isoniazid, penicilamine or other drugs. Sciatica, back pain, drug seizures such as semicarbazid, thiosemicarbazid or isoniazid or cramps caused by lack of pyridoxin (vitamin B6). Combined with vitamin B6 and Vitamin B12, ATC code: A11DB.

    Mechanism of action

Thiamin is the coenzyme of some enzymes that play an important role in the transformation of carbohydrates. Accordingly, the demand for thiamin depends directly on the level of carbohydrate absorption. Thiamin demand increases when a diet is high in carbohydrates. At high doses, Thiamin prevents the transmission of nerve stimulation thus reducing pain. Thiamin deficiency leads to myocardial disease or Wernicking.

pyridoxin is the coenzyme of a series of enzymes involved in protein metabolism and amino acid metabolism. The exact activity of the central nervous system depends heavily on the metabolism of amino acids, thus requiring enough pyridoxin. Pyridoxin plays an important role in the synthesis of biological amino and neurotransmitter in the brain. High doses Pyridoxin can prevent convulsions due to drugs such as semicarbazid, thiosemicarbazid or isoniazid and prevent seizures due to pyridoxin deficiency. At the appropriate dose, pyridoxin also has the ability to protect the body against unwanted effects due to radiation.

cobalamin is coenzyme related to many different reactions, including DNA synthesis and the formation of methionin - an important reaction to the metabolism of tetrahydrofolic. Cobalamin participates in protein metabolism, but the exact role of cobalamin has not been fully clarified. Cobalamin plays an important role in the growth of red blood cells.

In high doses, cobalamin has analgesic effect. The combination of thiamin, pyridoxin and cobalamin in Medi-Neuro Ultra has the effect of reducing neurological pain, detoxification and anti-anemia. These vitamins often appear together in natural sources that support each other in cell metabolism, especially the nervous system. Therefore, Medi-Neuro Ultra treatment will be more effective and more convenient than using vitamins separately.

    Pharmacokinetics

    absorption

Thiamin and pyridoxin absorption occurs at the first part of the small intestine according to the passive diffuse mechanism. The absorption of cobalamin occurs at the end of the ileum by linking to the internal factor.

    Distribution

The maximum concentration in the blood (about 230 nmol/I) is found about 8 hours after taking 100 mg of thiamin. In about 4 hours, this value has dropped to half and the initial concentration is achieved after about 20 hours. The optimal drug concentration in thiamin's plasma is 110 nmol/I, pyridoxal-5-phosphate is 60 nmol/l and cyanocobalamin is 200 pmol/l.

    Metabolism

Thiamin: transformed into some substances, most of them are excreted through urine. The main metabolic product is the acid and pyramine thiamin. A small amount of Thiamin eliminates in the form of unchanged.

pyridoxin: The main excretion product of pyridoxin is 4-pyridoxic acid in the urine.

cobalamin: So far, there is no evidence for the catabolism of cobalamin. The decrease in the concentration of cobalamin is only caused by excretion (mainly through bile).

    Elimination

Semi -selling time of vitamins depends on the dose.

pyridoxin: The sale time of pyridoxin is 1 day when taking a dose of 100 mg.

cobalamin: When cobalamin is added enough, about 25% will return to urine within 24 hours when using 1 mg.

    Dynamics of special patient groups

Thiamin: Clinically changing kinetics occur in Thiamin subjects such as in alcoholics, pregnant women and nursing mothers.

pyridoxin: Pyridoxin kinetic changes in cases of vomiting during pregnancy, contraceptive use, menstrual syndrome, alcohol abuse, anemia due to lack of pyridoxin and cramps, using pyridoxine antagonists such as tuberculosis (Isoniazid, semicarbazid, thiosemicarbazid and D-CYCloserin), some antibiotics and antibiotics As well as during pregnancy, breastfeeding, radiation therapy.

cobalamin: Cobalamin kinetic changes in malignant anemia, this vitamin can not be absorbed due to deficiency of internal factors.

    How to use

    Take oral use.

    Dosage

Adults: 1 tablet/day. Swallowing the whole tablet with liquid.

The safety of drugs for children under 18 years of age has not been determined.

Note: The above dose is for reference only. Specific dosage depends on the condition and level of progression of the disease. For a suitable dose, you need to consult a doctor or medical specialist. What to do when overdose?

Cobalamin's high doses can cause acne. If overdose pyridoxine (2500 mg or for more than 5 months), rare cases may occur in peripheral neuropathy, but symptoms may be lost after stopping the drug.

The effect can be reversed when stopping treatment.

In an emergency, call the 115 emergency center immediately or go to the nearest local health station.

    What do

do when you forget a dose? However, if close to the next dose, skip the forgotten dose and take the next dose at the time as planned. Do not drink twice as prescribed.

    Drug interaction

    related to thiamin (vitamin B1)

Vitamin B1 can increase the effects of nerve blockers.

Thiamin antagonists like Thiosemicarbazone and 5-Fluorouracil can reduce the effect of Thiamin, so may need to adjust the dose of Thiamin when used the same drug.

Thiamin may give a fake positive result to identify urobilinogen by Ehrlich's reaction. Thiamin's high doses can intervene with spectral tests of theophyllin concentration in plasma.

    Related to pyridoxin (vitamin B6)

Vitamin B6 reduces the effect of levodopa, this does not happen if the preparation is a mixoropa-carbidopa mixture or levodopa-benserazide.

Some drugs may increase pyridoxin demand such as hydralazin, isoniazid, penicilamine and oral contraceptives. Pyridoxin can lighten depression in women who are taking birth control pills.

    Regarding cobalamine (vitamin B12)

Absorbing vitamin B12 from the gastrointestinal tract may be reduced when used with Neomycin, aminosalicylic acid, Histamine H and Colchicin receptor drugs.

Serum concentration may be reduced when used simultaneously with oral contraceptives. Chloramphenicol used on the gastrointestinal tract can be the effect of B12 in anemia.

The treatment effect of vitamin B12 may be reduced when used simultaneously with omeprazol.
