    Pharmacy

Meloxicam is an nonsteroidal anti -inflammatory drug (NSAID), Oxicam derivatives. The drug has anti -inflammatory, analgesic, antipyretic effects. Like some other nonsteroidal anti -inflammatory drugs, Meloxicam inhibits prostaglandin synthesis, intermediate substances that play an important role in the pathogenesis of anti -inflammatory, fever, pain.

    pharmacokinetics

Meloxicam absorbs well through the digestive tract, oral bioavailability reaches 89% compared to intravenous injection, food is very little affected by absorption. Absorption in the form of tablets, capsules and rectal tablets is similar.

In the blood, Meloxicam is mainly attached to albumin with a rate of over 99%. The drug diffuses well into joint fluid, concentration in joint fluid reaches 50% of the plasma concentration, but the free form of the drug in the joint fluid is 2.5 times higher than in plasma because the joint is less protein.

Meloxicam is almost completely metabolized in the liver with the main catalyst of CYP2C9 and a small part of CYP3A4. The metabolites are no longer active and excreted mainly through urine and feces. A small amount of non -metabolic drugs excreted through urine (0.2%) and in feces (1.6%).

Half lifetime eliminates the average medicine for 20 hours. In people with impaired or mild or moderate liver function (CLCR> 20 ml/minute), there is no need to adjust Meloxicam dose. Meloxicam cannot be separated.

Before taking Mobimed drug 7.5mg pymepharco treat rheumatoid arthritis, spinal inflammation (2 blisters x 10 tablets)

    How to use

    use by oral.

    Dosage

rheumatoid arthritis, joint spondylitis: 15mg/day. Depending on the treatment, the dose can be reduced to 7.5mg/day.

Osteoarthritis inflammation: 7.5mg/day. If necessary, the dose can be increased to 15mg/day.

Patients are at high risk of unwanted effects: Starting treatment with 7.5mg/day.

Patients with severe dialysis: Dosage must not exceed 7.5mg/day.

Children under 18 years of age: Safety and effectiveness have not been determined.

Note: The above dose is for reference only. Specific dosage depends on the condition and level of progression of the disease. For a suitable dose, you need to consult a doctor or medical specialist.

What to do when overdose? Currently, there is no specific antidote. In some clinical experiments, using Cholestyramin will increase the elimination of meloxicam. Severe injuries on the gastrointestinal tract can be treated with antacids and antihistamine H2.

What to do when you forget a dose? However, if close to the next dose, skip the forgotten dose and take the next dose at the time as planned. Note that it should not be used double the prescribed dose.

    Side Effects

When using Mobimed 7.5, you may experience unwanted effects (ADR).

    Common
  • Gastrointestinal disorders: Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, constipation, bloating, diarrhea, anemia, itching, skin rash.
  • Increase transaminase, bilirubin, belching, esophagitis, stomach -duodenal ulcer, potential gastrointestinal bleeding. Face, tinnitus and drowsiness.
  • Rare

  • Colitis, gastrointestinal ulcers, hepatitis, gastritis.

Instructions on how to handle ADR

Notice the unwanted physician when using the drug.

  • Warnings

    Contraindicated

Mobimed 7.5 drugs in the following cases:

  • Patients with hypersensitivity to drug ingredients.
  • Cross -sensitive with aspirin and other NSAIDs.

Not used for patients with signs of asthma, nasal polyps, angiography or urticaria due to Aspirin and NSAIDs.

  • Progressive peptic ulcer.
  • Severe liver failure.

    Severe kidney failure without dialysis.

    Pregnant and lactating women.

  • Children under 12 years old.
  • Precautions when used

Meloxicam must be used very carefully in patients with a history of stomach -duodenal ulcer, patients who are taking anticoagulant drugs because they can cause stomach - duodenal ulcer, causing bleeding. To minimize the unwanted effect of Meloxicam, low doses should be used in the shortest possible time.

During the use of drugs that show abnormalities on the skin, mucosa or signs of ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding must stop the drug immediately.

Meloxicam inhibits prostaglandin synthesis in the kidneys leading to reduced renal perfusion. Patients who have reduced blood flow to the kidneys or hypoglycemia such as heart failure, nephrotic assembly, cirrhosis, severe kidney disease, are taking diuretic gums or are performing large surgery need to check the volume of urine and kidney function before using Meloxicam.

Meloxicam can cause a slight increase in transaminase or different liver function assessment parameters. When these parameters rise beyond the normal limit of meaning or prolonged increase, Meloxicam must be stopped.

In patients with cirrhosis but at a stable stage when taking the drug without a dose.

Elderly people with poor liver, kidney and heart function should not use Meloxicam.

    Risk of cardiovascular thrombosis:

  • NSAIDs are not aspirin, using systemic sugar, which can increase the risk of cardiovascular thrombosis, including myocardial infarction and stroke, which can lead to death. This risk can appear early in the first few weeks of taking the drug and can increase over time. The risk of cardiovascular thrombosis is recorded mainly at high doses.
  • Doctors need to periodically evaluate the appearance of cardiovascular events, even if the patient does not have previous cardiovascular symptoms. Patients should be warned of symptoms of serious cardiovascular events and need to visit the doctor as soon as they appear.

To minimize the risk of adverse events, Meloxicam is needed at the lowest daily doses in the shortest possible effect as possible.

The ability to drive and operate machinery

The drug does not affect the ability to drive and operate machinery, but because it can cause unwanted effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, it is best not to use Meloxicam while participating in these activities.

    Pregnancy

Experimental research does not see Meloxicam's teratogenic evidence. However, Meloxicam is recommended not to be used for pregnant women, especially in the last 3 months of pregnancy for fear of early pacifies or other complications for the fetus.

    Breastfeeding period

should not use meloxicam during breastfeeding. If you need to use medication for mothers, you should not breastfeed.

    Medicinal interaction

The drug has the effect of increasing the level on Cycloxygenase inhibitors with other NSAIDs at high doses, increasing the risk of stomach - duodenal and hemorrhage, so it does not use meloxicam along with other NSAIDs.

Oral anticoagulant, ticlopidin, heparin, thrombolytic drugs: Meloxicam increases the risk of bleeding, thus avoiding coordination. During the treatment process, it is necessary to closely monitor the anticoagulant effect.

Lithi: Meloxicam increases the level of lithium in the blood, so it is necessary to monitor the level of lithium in the blood during use in combination with two drugs together.

Methotrexate: Meloxicam increases the toxicity of methotrexate on hematology system, so it is necessary to count blood cells periodically.

IUD: The drug reduces the effectiveness of contraceptives of the IUD in the uterus.

Digital gums: Meloxicam may increase the risk of acute renal failure in patients with dehydration. In case of combination, it is necessary to add enough water for patients and must monitor the function carefully.

Medicines for hypertension such as: Alpha inhibitors - Adrenergic, Angiotensin -shifting enzyme inhibitors, vasodilators: Meloxicam inhibits Prostaglandin synthesis should reduce vasodilation, lowering blood pressure of combined drugs.

Cholestyramin: Cholestyramin attached to meloxicam in the gastrointestinal tract reduces the absorption, increasing the excretion of Meloxicam.

Cyclosporin: Meloxicam increases the toxicity of the kidneys. Therefore, when coordinating, it is necessary to monitor the function carefully.

warfarin: Meloxicam can increase bleeding, so it is necessary to monitor bleeding time when coordinated.

Furosemid and the thiazid group: The drug reduces the diuretic effect of Furosemid, the thiazide group.
