Uses

indications

Morihepamin® drug is indicated in the following cases:

  • Support treatment in the cerebral brain syndrome for patients with chronic liver failure.

Morihepamin® improves neurological symptoms, reduces plasma ammonia levels and reduces coma caused by ammonia. The same result has obtained the dog with the intravenous connection and the lower vena.

The effects of improving brain electrical, free amino acid levels in plasma and brain and amino metabolism in the brain

In mice with the venous and lower venous connection, Morihepamin® reduces abnormal brain electrical power caused by ammonia. Morihepamin® also improves indoleamine metabolism in plasma and brain by reducing the concentration of ammonia in the blood and improving plasma fischer ratio.

Mechanism of speeding up ammonia metabolism

Morihepamin® is considered to quickly improve ammonia metabolism by increasing the secretion of ammonia through the kidneys in addition to activating the urea cycle in the liver and increasing the synthesis of glutamine in the brain and muscle.

    Dynamic pharmacokinetics

Amino acid levels in plasma and elimination in urine have been studied in 500 ml and 1000 ml intravenous trials in healthy men. The concentration of the total amount of amino acids in plasma is maximized right after the end of the infusion, then decreases rapidly and returns to normal value after 24 hours. The form of amino acids in contrast blood reflects the amino acid component of Morihepamin®. For urine elimination, it has been recognized as an increase in the volume of amino acids excreted in urine (Threonine, Serine, Glycine, Histidine and Lysine) in proportion to the volume of MoriHepamin® used.

    How to use

    drugs used intravenously.

    Dosage

Morihepamin® is often used for intravenous dripping with a single dose of 500 ml in adults.

The transmission time usually does not less than 180 minutes for 500 ml in adults.

When intravenous infusion, 500 ml can be mixed into a solution containing carbohydrates and continuous transmission for 24 hours. The dose can be adjusted depending on age, symptoms and weight.

Note: The above dose is for reference only. Specific dosage depends on the condition and level of progression of the disease. For a suitable dose, you need to consult a doctor or medical specialist. What to do when overdose?

In an emergency, call the 115 emergency center immediately or go to the nearest local health station.

What to do when you forget a dose? However, if close to the next dose, skip the forgotten dose and take the next dose at the time as planned. Note that it should not be used double the prescribed dose.

    Side Effects

When using MoriHepamin®, you may experience unwanted effects (ADR).

    Common, ADR> 1/100

  • Body: rash, etc.
  • digestion: Nausea, vomiting, etc.
  • Cardiovascular: chest tightness, breast drum, etc.
  • Metabolic: Hypoglycemia, transient ammonia in the blood (when using high doses and rapid transmission).
  • Other: Shudder, fever, headache, pulse, sweating.

    Unknown frequency

  • Metabolism: Acid infection.
  • Instructions on how to handle ADR

When experiencing side effects of the drug, it is necessary to stop using and notify the doctor or go to the nearest medical facility for timely treatment.

    Warnings

Before using the drug you need to read the instructions carefully and refer to the information below.

    contraindicated

Morihepamin® drug contraindicated in the following cases:

  • Patients with severe renal dysfunction (nitrogen residues can worsen symptoms).
  • Patients with amino acid metabolic disorders in addition to liver disorders (amino acid imbalance may be increased).
  • Be cautious when using

carefully when used (MoriHepamin® should be carefully used for the following patients)

Patients with severe blood acidosis (large amounts can worsen blood acidosis).

Patients with congestive heart failure (increased blood flow may increase the stress for the heart).

    General caution

Stop using this medication or switch to other treatments if the drug has increased the concentration of blood ammonia and mental and nervous symptoms worse.

    Used for adults

Because physiological functions in older adults often decrease, it is necessary to be cautious by measures such as reducing the dose.

    used for children

Safety when used for children has not been confirmed (because there is no clinical trial).

    Be cautious when using

    Before transmitting:

  • If the solution appears crystalline crystal, heat up to 50 - 60 ° C to dissolve, then cool with body temperature before use.
  • Do not use if the solution is not completely transparent.
  • When you have opened the packaging lid, must be used immediately. All excess solutions must be removed.
  • While transmitting:

  • The solution contains about 100 Meq/l ion acetate, so when transmitting large quantities or in combination with electrolyte solution, it is important to pay attention to the condition of electrolyte balance.
  • Transmission speed:

  • slow intravenous infusion.
  • Be cautious when manipulating

Can be injected Morihepamin® without ventilation.

Do not open the outer membrane until ready to use to prevent discoloration (with dehydration placed inside to keep the solution's stability).

Do not use when the solution is discolored or the solution is leaked or there is a drop of water found in the outer membrane.

Do not use if the sealed seal on the rubber button is peeled.

Plug the needle vertically towards the O (concave surface) on the rubber button. If the needle is crossed, it is likely that the needle will penetrate the plastic bag, resulting in a leaked solution.

Be careful not to tear the film, because the solution may discolor if the film is torn.

The upper division line of the plastic bag should only be used as a guide.

Morihepamin® is not used with the system of the duo using U -shaped pipe. In case two bags need to be transmitted at the same time or continuously, it is advisable to use a curling line Y.

The ability to drive and operate machinery

Caution should be cautious because the drug can cause tremor, hypoglycemia, fever, headache, chest tightness, brush.
