indications

Naciti drugs are indicated in the following cases:

  • Used to treat serious brain damage due to natural cerebrovascular trauma with or without consciousness. Physics: neuropathy and nerve tonic.

    ATC code: N06bx06.

Citicolin activates the phospholipid structure of the nerve cell membrane, increasing the metabolism in the brain, increasing the levels of many different neurotransmitters including acetylcholine and dopamine.

citicolin shows nerve protection effects in cases of lack of oxygen and anemia as well as improving manifestations of the ability to memorize and learn in brain aging.

citicolin, through the activity, improves the function of the meninges mechanisms such as the exchange of ion channels and channel receptors in which the regulation is necessary for an accurate neurotransmitter.

citicolin has anti -brain edema properties due to its stable activity on the nerve cell membrane.

Clinical trials show that citicolin improves symptoms that come with brain dysfunctions that occur after various processes such as brain injury and stroke. Citicolin improves cognitive and memory level, sensory disorders and movement with the above status.

    pharmacokinetics

citicolin is a water -soluble compound with more than 90%bioavailability. Mobile pharmacokinetic studies on healthy volunteers show that citicolin doses are absorbed quickly, with less than 1% excretion in the feces. Citicolin peaks the first plasma concentration 1 hour after drinking, followed by and the second plasma concentration peak is achieved after 24 hours.

citicolin is metabolized in the intestinal wall and liver. The by -products of external Ciiticolin are formed by hydrolysis in the intestinal wall, choline and cytidine. After absorption, Choline and Cytidine are dispersed throughout the body, into the circulatory system through many biosynthetic paths, and overcome the brain blood barrier and then reinforcement into citicolin in the brain.

Historable pharmacokinetic studies using 14C citicolin shows that citicolin elimination is mainly through the respiratory tract and excreted through urine in 2 stages of showing two plasma concentrations. The first plasma peak concentration decreases rapidly, then slowed down within the next 4 - 10 hours. In the second phase, the concentration of citicolin in blood statues decreases rapidly after 24 hours, then the elimination rate is slower. The sale time of citicolin is 56 hours of respiratory tract and 71 hours for excretion through urine.
