Uses

indications

Nexipraz 40 drugs are indicated in the following cases:

  • Gastroesophageal reflux disease. The drug has a specific inhibition effect in the cell wall.

Esomeprazol is a weak base, the drug is concentrated and transformed into an active form in a highly acidic environment in the submachine of the cell's secretion, where the proton inhibitors inhibit the basic fluid and the stimulating fluid.

The acid -secreting effect of the drug depends on the concentration of the drug in plasma and the time of contact with the drug.

Due to the inhibition of acid secretion, the drug has the effect of treating esophagitis due to gastroesophageal reflux - esophagus and gastric ulcer disease - duodenum due to H. pylori infection or prolonged anti -inflammatory drugs.

    Dynamic pharmacokinetics

Esomeprazol is quickly absorbed, the peak concentration in plasma reaches about 1-2 hours after drinking. The biological use of the single dose of 40 mg is about 64%, increasing to 89% after the dose is repeated once a day. Esomeprazol is connected to plasma proteins about 97%.

Esomeprazol is completely metabolized through the Cytochrom P450 system to form hydroxy, desmethyl and esomeprazol sulphon metabolites.

Selling time for plasma is about 1.3 hours.

Esomeprazol is completely eliminated from plasma between doses, without the tendency to accumulate when used once a day. About 80% of oral doses are eliminated through urine in the form of metabolites, the rest through the feces. Less than 1% of the form of no metabolism is excreted in the urine.
