Klamentin 250/31.25 drugs are indicated in the following cases: Short -term treatment of upper and lower respiratory infections, urinary tract, skin and soft tissue, bone and joints.

Klamentin 250/31.25 has bactericidal properties for many bacteria, including the beta -lactamase secretions resistance to ampicillin and amoxicillin.

Pharmacological

amoxicillin is a semi-synthetic antibiotic belonging to the Beta-Lactam family, with wide bactericidal spectrum for many Gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria due to the synthetic inhibition of bacterial cell walls. But because amoxicillin is easily destroyed by beta-lactamase, amoxicillin has no effect on the strains of bacteria that produce these enzymes.

Clavulanic acid has a beta-lactam structure similar to penicillin capable of inhibiting beta-lactamase because most gram-negative and staphylococcus bacteria are born. In particular, clavulanic acid has a strong inhibition effect of beta-lactamase transmitted via plasmid that resists penicillins and cephalosporins.

The combination of clavulanic acid and amoxicillin in klamentin helps amoxicillin not being destroyed by beta-lactamase, while expanding the antibacterial spectrum of amoxicillin effectively to many common bacteria that have resisted amoxicillin, resistant to other penicillins and other cephalosporins.

Dynamic pharmacokinetics

How to use

Mix Klamentin 250 with just enough water (about 5 - 10 ml of water for 1 pack), stir before drinking.
