Pharmacology

Nystatin is a polyene, anti -fungal antibiotic extracted from streptomyces noursei mushroom culture, yellow powder, very little soluble in water. Nystatin has the effect of restraining or eliminating fungi depending on the concentration and sensitivity of the fungus, not affecting the normal bacteria on the body.
