Indications

ofloxacin indicated for treatment of infections caused by sensitive bacteria such as:

  • Severe bronchitis;
  • pneumonia ; Fluoroquinolon group, with wide antibacterial spectrum including Enterobacteriaceae, Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, Haemophilus Influenzae, Neisseria spp Pneumoniae, Mycobacteriumleprae, Mycobacterium tuberculosis and Mycobacterium spp. other. The mechanism of action is not fully known. Like other antibacterial quinolone drugs, Ofloxacin inhibits DNA - Gyrase is an essential enzyme in the process of duplication, code and repair of DNA of bacteria.

    Dosage

    adults and children ≥ 15 years old

    Patients with severe bronchitis, pneumonia, skin infections and soft tissue: Take the dose of 2 tablets at a time, twice a day (12 hours apart), for 10 days.

    Urinary tract infections: take 1 tablet each time, twice a day (12 hours apart), for 3-10 days.
