Uses

The treatment support for a diet that reduces total cholesterol, LDL, Apolipoprotein B, Triglycerides & HDL increases in patients with primary blood cholesterol & mixed blood lipid disorders (Type IIA & IIB); Reducing blood triglyceride type IV).

How to use

Oral drugs.

Dosage

Start: 10mg, 1 time.

The permitted dose range: 10-80mg once a day, not related to meals.

Maximum: 80mg/day.

What to do when overdose?

If an overdose occurs, symptomatic treatment and support when necessary. Due to the strong drug associated with plasma proteins, the hemorrhage does not expect to significantly increase the clearance of Atorvastatin.

What to do when you forget the dose?

If you forget a dose, use it as soon as possible. However, if close to the next dose, skip the forgotten dose and take the next dose at the time as planned. Note that it should not be used double the prescribed dose.

Mild & transient: Nausea, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, dizziness, insomnia, fatigue.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug ingredient. Pregnant or lactating women.

Be cautious when using

In patients drinking a lot of alcohol & a history of liver disease. Check liver function during treatment. Should be re -examined when pain, tension or muscle weakness can not be explained, or accompanied by fever or fatigue.

Drug interaction

Increased risk of muscle disease when used with cyclosporin, fibric acid derivatives, niacin, erythromycin, antifungal drug azole. Reduce the concentration of drugs when used with antacids.

Storage

Store drugs at a temperature of 5-30 degrees Celsius, in closed containers, avoid light.
