Uses
indications
Supirocin is indicated in the following cases:
mupirocin (pseudomonic acid; pseudomonic acid A) is an antibiotic produced by submerged fermentation pseudomonas fluorescens and has a different structure from other antibiotics. Other substances produced by Pseudomonas Fluorescens such as Pseudomonic Acid B, C and D have also been surveyed on antibacterial activity but Mupirocin has the most powerful antibacterial activity.
Much special mechanism of mupirocin, unlike other antibiotics, is a specific and reversible cohesion with the bacterial enzyme enzyme synthetase of bacteria leading to protein synthesis and RNA synthesis. Thanks to this mechanism of action, the speed of staphylococcus aureus in mupirocin in in vitro studies is low, and has no cross -resistance to other skin -used antibiotics.
mupirocin works against staphylococcus aureus strains of multi -resistance and negative staphylococcus aureus, including resistant strains with penicillin, methicillin, neomycin, erythromycin, fusidic acid, lincomycin, chloramphenicol, tetracyclin and gentamicin.
Dynamic pharmacokinetics
The bioavailability of mupirocin used on the spot is very low (0.24%). The permeability of mupirocin increases when the bandage is closed or applied to the damaged skin. 72 hours after taking the radioactive mark, there is a radioactive activity measured in the epidermis of these patients.
mupirocin is slowly metabolized in the skin into an inactive metabolic, monic acid. Only 2.7% Mupirocin is metabolized after 48 hours in human skin homogeneity. Only a very small amount of drugs are absorbed and metabolized, the main emissions are through the kidney (accounting for 56% to 90% of the total deduction).

For a suitable dose, you need to consult a doctor or medical specialist. What to do when overdose? There is no experience for mupirocin ointment.
