Pharmacokology
Omeprazole clearly inhibits the secretion of stomach acid at the basic level and even when stimulated, omeprazole has the only way to prevent the proton pump of the border cell, which is the final stage of the stomach acid secretion.
Dynamic pharmacokinetics
omeprazole quickly absorbed after being released from tablets in the intestine. The peak concentration of plasma of omeprazole reaches 0.5 - 3.5 hours after drinking. The intestinal solubility increases bioavailability of over 65%. Attach about 95-96% to protein - plasma. Omeprazole quickly excreted and almost completely metabolized. There are 3 metabolites seen in plasma: sulfide derivatives, sulfon of omeprazole and hydroxyl omeprazole. The metabolites have very little or no anti -secreting effect.
