Uses
indications
Pantonix 40 drug is indicated in the following cases:
Pantoprazol is converted into activity in the sub -trailers lying in the cell into the stomach, the enzyme inhibitor H+, K+ - Atpase, is the final stage of producing stomach acid. The inhibition ability of Pantoprazol depends on the dosage and has an impact on both the basic acid excretion as well as when stimulated.
On most patients, symptoms will improve after 2 weeks. As with other H2 receptor inhibitors and inhibitors, the treatment with pantoprazol can cause a decrease in acid in the stomach and thus increase galastin at an acid reduction rate. However, Gastrin increases can be reversed.
Pantoprazol can inhibit independent acid excretion with stimulation by different agents (acetylcholin, histamine, gastrin) and this effect is the same when using pantoprazol in oral or intravenous form.
Dynamic pharmacokinetics
pantoprazol is quickly absorbed after drinking. The half -life is about 1 hour and is 77%. The average plasma disposal time is not correlated with the time to inhibit acid excretion due to the concentrated drug in the cell wall of the stomach. The cohesion rate of Pantoprazol with very high plasma (about 98%) and is transformed through the Cytochrom P450 system.
The ability to accumulate drugs in the body has not been recorded. The metabolites are mainly excreted in urine (80%) and in feces (20%). The main product of the metabolic process is Dimethyl Pantoprazol is a combined sulphate with a half -time time of 1.5 hours.

Combined with two appropriate antibiotics to eradicate H.pylori in patients with stomach and duodenal ulcer.
In patients with peptic ulcer, duodenal positive for H.pylori, to remove the root of pathogens should use regimens combining a variety of drugs. Depending on the type of drug resistance, you can use one of the following regimens:
In combination therapy, it is recommended to take the second pantoprazol tablet of the second mg before dinner, treatment for 7 days and can last up to two weeks.
With other indications, the dose of 40 mg pantoprazol is as follows:
Treatment of stomach ulcers

Treatment of duodenal ulcer
Every day a 40 mg pantoprazol. In some cases, the dose may doubled, especially when the patient did not respond to other treatments. The duodenal ulcer usually heals within 2 weeks. If 2 weeks do not cure, continue treatment for 2 more weeks.
Treatment of reflux esophagitis
Every day a 40 mg pantoprazol. In some cases, the dose may doubled, especially when the patient did not respond to other treatments. Treatment for 4 weeks, if 4 weeks do not cure, continue treatment for 4 more weeks.
Zollinger - Ellison syndrome and other cases of gastric acid secretion
For long -term treatment, patients should start daily dose treatment of 2 pantoprazol 40 mg. The dose may then be adjusted to increase or decrease as needed by measuring stomach acid secretion. With a dose of over 80 mg/day, divided into twice daily. The temporary dose may be increased to 160 mg but should not be applied for a long time.
unlimited treatment time and need to be adjusted according to clinical needs.
Special subjects
Children under 12 years old
Do not use 40 mg pantoprazol for children under 12 years old.
Patients with severe liver failure
Daily dose is 20 mg of pantoprazole. During treatment, the liver enzyme must be followed, if the liver enzyme increases, it should be discontinued with pantoprazol.
Elderly patients or renal function impairment
Do not reduce the dose in patients with renal impairment (including dialysis patients). The daily dose should not exceed 40 mg of pantoprazol. Except for combination of treatment to kill H.pylori, the dose for elderly patients is still 2 pantoprazol 40 mg per day for a week.
Note: The above dose is for reference only. Specific dosage depends on the condition and level of progression of the disease. For a suitable dose, you need to consult a doctor or medical specialist. What do

Pantonix 40 contraindicated drug in the following cases:
Be cautious when used
When taking the drug for patients with liver function, the concentration of liver enzymes must be carefully monitored.
Patients should be diagnosed with laparoscopic methods before treatment with pantoprazol to eliminate malignant tumors in the stomach and esophagus because the treatment with Pantoprazol can improve symptoms and thus delay the cause of the cause.
Because there is no research on the use of Pantoprazol for children, there is no use of pantoprazol for children.

The period of breastfeeding
It is unknown whether the drug is excreted through breast milk or not, so do not use pantoprazole for breastfeeding or breastfeeding women if required to take the drug.
