How to use

Pentasa 1g medicine only uses rectal sugar.

Dosage

Rectal indent once in the evening at bedtime.

Side Effects

Contraindicated

Pentasa® 1g drug is contraindicated in the following cases:

Hypersensitivity to Mesalazine, Salicylate and other ingredients of the drug.

Caution when using

should be cautious when treating patients allergies to sulpasalazine (risk of allergies to salicylates). Caution during the treatment period (in terms of risk to salicylate).

Be careful in patients with liver function failure. Liver function parameters such as Ali or AST should be assessed before and during treatment with the supervision of the doctor. Rarely reports on the hypersensitivity reaction of the heart (myocarditis and FIM peripheral inflammation). Mesalazine is known to pass through the placenta and the concentration of cord plasma is lower than the concentration of the mother's plasma. No teratogenic effects have been reported through many observation studies and there is no evidence that there is a risk when used in humans. Blood diseases (reducing all bloody, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, anemia) have been reported in the newborns of mothers being treated with Pentasa® Mesalazine to be secreted into breast milk. Studies are controlled when using Pentasa® in women who are in the period of breastfeeding. Can not exclude hypersensitivity reactions like diarrhea in children.

Drug interaction

Coordinate Pentasa® treatment with azathioprine, or ó-mercaptopurine or thioguanine in many studies showed that the frequency of impact causing greater bone marrow and interactions seemed to exist. However, the mechanism behind this interaction is not fully known. It is recommended to regularly monitor leukemia and thiopurine dose should be adjusted appropriately.

Storage
