Pharmacokology

pitavastatin is a competitive inhibitor and selective HMG-COA reducing enzyme, a decision of the level of cholesterol synthesis in the liver and by increasing the number of LDL receptors in the liver on the surface cell to increase the process of LDL recovery and metabolism, reducing the total concentration of cholesterol (TC) and TC) LDL-Cholesterol (LDL-C) in the blood.

Its prolonged liver cholesterol synthesis reduces VLDL secretion (lipoprotein very low density) into the blood, reducing the concentration of triglyceride (TG) in plasma.

Pharmacological effects: Pit-Stat Tablet IMG reduces LDL-C, total cholesterol, triglycerides and increases HDL cholesterol (HDL-C). Pit-Star Tablet IMG reduces APO-B and creates increasing variables in APO-A1. It also reduces Non-HDL-C and reduces cholestero/HDL-C, APO-B/APO-A1 ratio.

pharmacokinetic

absorption

Pitavastatin is quickly absorbed by the above gastrointestinal tract and the peak concentration of plasma is achieved within an hour after drinking. The absorption is not affected by food. The drug does not
changes through the circulatory cycle and is well absorbed from white and ileum. Pitavastatin's absolute bioavailability is 51%.

Distribution

Pitavastatin binds more than 99% of human plasma proteins, mainly with albumin and alpha-acid glycoprotein, and the average distribution integral is about 133 L. Pitavastatin is not a chop-glycoprotein.

Metabolism

pitavastatin is mainly in a constant form in plasma. The main metabolite is the inactive lactone formed through a Glucuronide Pitavastatin in the form of ester by UDP Glucuronosyltransferase (UGT1A3 and 2B7). In In vitro studies, the use of 13 cytochromep450 (CYP) isomers of humans, indicating that the metabolism of pitavastatin because CYP is dark
; CYP2C9 (and to a lower level is responsible for the metabolism of pitavastatin into small metabolites.

Elimination

pitavastatin is unchanged to quickly excreted by the liver in the bile, but it must undergo the intestinal circulation, contributing to its time. Less than 5% pitavastatin is eliminated in the urine.

Half lifetime of plasma elimination ranges from 5.7 hours (single dose) to 8.9 hours (stable state and medium oral clearance is 43.4 hours after the single dose.
