Pharmacokology

Calcium is a basic nutrient, affecting the maintenance of electrolytes as well as the exact activity of many regulatory mechanisms. It plays an essential role in the physiological process of formation and regeneration of bone tissue, neuromuscular transmission, regulating muscle spasms, stimulating bone, blood clotting, excretion and activating some hormones, enzymes and neurotransmitters, salt and water transport, absorbent properties of cell membranes and blood vessels.

Polcalmex affect endothelial closing, reducing edema and allergic reactions, restoring the accuracy of muscle contraction and reducing calcium deficiency.

Thanks to the increase in proportion, the pharmacological dosage of calcium will stimulate the secretion of calcitonin, is a neurotransmitter, stimulating the secretion of beta-endorphin, has an analgesic and antidepressant effect, it also stimulates physical activity, stops the hormone secretion of the armor gland and reduces phosphate levels in plasma.

pharmacokinetic

absorption

Calcium is absorbed in the duodenum and the first part of the small intestine thanks to the active transport mechanism. About 30% of calcium oral during the absorbed meal.

Increased calcium absorption when lactose, protein, citric acid, vitamin D, parathyroid gland hormone, and glucocorticoid, calcitonin, oxalic acid, phytic acid and phosphate to stop calcium absorption.

Calcium absorption has decreased with age. The appropriate calcium content in the serum is about 2.5mmol/l, of which 1.5mmol/l calcium ionization and about 1mmol/l is linked to plasma proteins.

Elimination

calcium is excreted through feces and urine, a small amount through saliva, sweat and milk. The amount of calcium excreted through the stool is relatively stable, about 0.4 - 0.8g/day. The amount of calcium excreted in urine is influenced by calciotropic hormones, under appropriate conditions not exceeding 0.3g/day.
