Praxilene 200mg drug is indicated for use in cases of painful pain treatment due to chronic peripheral artery disease of the lower limb (phase II).
Pharmacokology
Naftidrofuryl produces two synergistic effects, leading to spreading ischemic effect.
At the blood vessel level: as a specific antagonist of receptors 5-HT2, Naftidrofuryl against vascular shrinkage and platelet collection of serotonin.
At the cell level: As an active substance producing ATP, Naftidrofuryl enhances the metabolism of ischemic cells.
