Indications
Pyfaclor 500 mg is indicated in the following cases:
In vitro tests show that Cefaclor works for bacterial strains: Staphylococcus including strains producing penicillinase, positive, negative coagulase; Streptococcus Pneumoniae, Streptococcus Pyogenes, (Streptococcus Beta Group A); Moraxella Catnrhalis, Haemophilus Influenzae (including strains producing beta lactamase, ampicillin resistance); Escherichia coli; Proteus Mirabilis; Klebsiella spp; Citrobacter Diversus, Bacteroides spp. (except bacteroides fragilis); Neisseria gonorrhoeae.
pharmacokinetic
cefaclor is absorbed very well after drinking. The total number of medications is the same whether patients are hungry or full. However, when used with food, the peak concentration is only 50-70% compared to the peak concentration when the patient is fast and is slower about 45 - 60 minutes. After taking the dose of 250 mg, 500 mg and 1 g in hunger, the average peak concentration in serum corresponds to 7 mg/l, 13 mg/l and 23mg/l, achieved after 30-60 minutes.
The drug is widely distributed to the body's tissues. About 25% of the drug associated with plasma proteins. The average half -life of serum cancellation in normal people is about 1 hour (from 0.6 to 0.9 hours).
In patients with impaired renal function, the half -life is often a bit longer.
In patients completely impaired renal function, the half -life of serum cancellation of the original drug is 2.3 - 2.8 hours.
Dialysis reduces the sale time of drugs by about 25 - 30%.
