Maintenance dose:

Usually 20-40 mg a day, once used or divided into 2 times equal. Can be used up to 80 mg a day. If necessary, an extra pills can be used without potassium.

Simultaneous treatment with diuretics: To reduce the risk of hypotension may occur in people who are taking diuretics, if possible, diuretics should be stopped for 2 to 3 days before starting quinapril.
