Uses

Indications

Ranixere is indicated in the following cases:

  • Treatment of peptic ulcer, esophageal reflux disease
  • Zollinger - Ellison syndrome. This drug is capable of reducing 90% of gastric acid secreted after taking 1 dose of treatment, which quickly causes a peptic ulcer and prevent recurrence. Moreover, there is an important role in controlling Zollinger - Ellison syndrome and excessive gastric secretion.

Ranitidine inhibits competition with histamine in the H2 receptor of the cell, reduces the amount of gastric acid secreted day and night, even in food stimulated by food, insulin, amino acid, histamine, or pentagastrin.

Ranitidin has a stronger inhibiting gastric acid secretion than cimetidine from 3 to 13 times but the unwanted effect (ADR) is less.

Magnesi oxyd, aluminum oxyd (magnesi aluminosilicate and magnesi alumin hydrate) are acidic anti -acid factors that increase gastric pH, reducing acidic symptoms. The drug reduces the effects of pepsin enzymes, this effect is especially important in people with digestive ulcers.

The optimal pH of Pepsin activity is 1.5 - 2.5; Due to the anti -acid that increases the gastric pH above 4, the pepsin resolution is the lowest.

Anti -acid -containing magnesium drugs often combine with aluminum antacids to reduce aluminum constipation effects.

    pharmacokinetics

    ranitidin

Ranitidin's bioavailability is about 50%. Take oral, after 2-3 hours, the maximum concentration in plasma will achieve the highest. The absorption is almost no effects of food and antacids.

ranitidin is not much metabolized and does not interact with many drugs like cimetidine.

Ranitidin is excreted mainly through the renal tubules, the half -life is 2-3 hours, 60 - 70% of oral doses are discharged through the urine, the rest is discharged through feces.

    Magnesi Oxide

Analysis of urine within the first 24 hours shows 35% of oral doses except for constant form.

Magnesi Oxyd reacts with hydrochloric acid to form magnesi chloride and water. About 15 - 30% of the Magnesi Chloride has just formed absorbed and then eliminated through urine in humans with normal kidney function. And the amount of Magnesi oxyde has not yet transformed into magnesium chloride can be transformed in the small intestine and is not significantly absorbed.

    aluminum oxyd

Slowly dissolved aluminum oxide in the stomach and react with stomach hydrochloric acid to form aluminum chloride and water. About 17 - 30% of aluminum chloride forms absorbed and quickly excreted through the kidneys in people with normal renal function. In the small intestine, aluminum chloride forms aluminum aluminum insoluble, poorly absorbed and eliminated in the feces.
