indications
Scanneuron drug are indicated in the following cases:
Treatment of supporting nervous system disorders such as neuralgia, peripheral neuritis, eye neuritis, diabetes and alcoholic neuritis, multiple nerve inflammation, abnormalities, weakness, sciatica and convulsions due to the stimulation of the central nervous system.
Pharmacokology
Pharmacological group: Vitamin B1 combined with vitamin B6 and/or vitamin B12.
ATC code: A11db.
Scannuron is a combination of high doses of neurological vitamins. The drug is chosen to maintain the body's stamina during the disease and overwork physically and mentally.
Vitamin B1 is essential for carbohydrate metabolism. The deficiency of Vitamin B1 causes Beri-Aeri disease and Wernicke brainstorm syndrome. The main organs affected by Thiamin deficiency are the peripheral nervous system, the cardiovascular system and the digestive system.
Vitamin B6 is rapidly transformed into coenzympy pyridoxal phosphate and pyridoxamin phosphate, playing an essential role in protein metabolism. Children deficient in vitamin B6 will be able to have convulsions and weak anemia.
Vitamin B12 is essential for nucleoprotein and myelin synthesis, cell regeneration, growth and maintain normal red blood cell generation process. Vitamin B12 can be converted into tissue b12 coenzyme, which is essential for the conversion of methylmalonate into sucinat and methionine synthesis from Homocystein. When there is no Coenzym B12, Tetrahydrofolate cannot be regenerated from the non-activity reserve form of 5-methyl tetrahydrofolate, leading to functional folat deficiency. The deficiency of vitamin B12 leads to large red blood cell anemia, the damage to the digestive system and destroying the nervous system first of all the inactiveness of creating myelin, followed by gradual degeneration of nerve axis and nerve head.
pharmacokinetics
Vitamin B1 absorbed through the gastrointestinal tract. The drug is widely distributed in most body tissues and is present in breast milk. In cells, vitamin B1 is present mainly in the form of diphosphate. Vitamin B1 is not stored in the body in any significant form, the amount exceeds the body's demand is eliminated through the urine in the form of constant or in the form of metabolites.
Vitamin B6 is rapidly absorbed through the gastrointestinal tract after oral and is transformed into activated form of pyridoxal phosphate. These substances are stored mainly in the liver, where oxidation forms 4-pyridoxic acid and other non-active metabolites are eliminated through the urine. When increasing the dose, the corresponding amount will be eliminated in the urine in the form of unchanged. Pyridoxal passes the placenta and is distributed into breast milk.
Vitamin B12 is linked to internal factors - a glycoprotein secreted by the gastric mucosa and then actively absorbed through the gastrointestinal tract. Vitamin B12 is connected with specialized plasma proteins called transcobalamin; Transcobalamin (II) is involved in the process of fast transport of cobalamin to tissues. Vitamin B12 is stored in the liver, eliminated through bile and undergo a lot of liver cycle; Part of the dose is eliminated through the urine, most of the first 8 hours. Vitamin B12 is given the placenta and is present in breast milk.

Scanneuron drugs contraindicated in the following cases:
Hypersensitivity to vitamin B1, vitamin B6, cobalamine (vitamin B12 and related substances) and any ingredients of the drug.
Malignant tumor: Because vitamin B12 is associated with the development of high growth tissues, there is a risk of promoting the progression of these tumors.
Patients with atopic allergies (asthma, eczema).
Caution when using
Effective and safety in children has not been evaluated.
After a long time of using vitamin B6 at a dose of 200mg/day, it may have been seen manifestation of neurotoxicity (such as severe peripheral neuropathy and severe sensory neurological disease). Using a dose of 200mg per day, lasting over 30 days can cause a dependence of vitamin B6.
Do not use vitamin B12 for patients suspected of lack of vitamin B12 without being diagnosed before.
The ability to drive and operate machinery
unknown.
Pregnancy
should be cautious when taking the drug during pregnancy, especially in the first 3 months of pregnancy.
Lactation period
high doses of vitamin B6 can inhibit prolactin secretion and should be cautious when used for nursing women.
Drug interaction
vitamin B1:
Increases the effects of neurotransmitter.
Vitamin B6:
Vitamin B6 reduces the effectiveness of Levodopa but this interaction will not occur if used with a Dopa decarboxylase inhibitor.
Vitamin B6 reduces the activity of altretamine, reduces the concentration of phenobarbital and phenytoin in serum.
Many drugs can increase the demand for vitamin B6 such as hydralazin, isoniazid, penicillamin and oral contraceptives.
Vitamin B12:
The absorption of vitamin B12 through the gastrointestinal tract may be reduced by neomycin, aminosalicylic acid, antihistamine H2 and Colchicin anti -antihistamines.
Serum vitamin B12 concentration may be reduced when used with oral contraceptives.
