Uses

indications

Sekaf 500mg is indicated in the following cases:

  • Treatment of cerebral vascular disorders (including transient strokes), Parkinson and first injury. Lecithin is one of the main components of cell membranes and the cells. Lecithin's role in cell regeneration shows that using CDPC will create pharmacological effects on the central nervous system, protect the central nervous system against many toxic substances (lack of oxygen, organic solvents with nerves ...).

There has been a correlation between brain damage and neurological disorders and phospholipid deficiency in the sick areas. The reproduction of phospholipids requires the merger of cholin into phosphatidylcholin, which is the process to be done via CDPC.

A lot of research experience has shown that while using Cholin will increase the metabolism of this substance into acetylcholin, creating cholinergic states, if using high doses CDPC does not make similar changes, even a large proportion of brain phosphatidylcholin in the sick area.

These experiments help use Sekaf to treat neurological dysfunction at advanced (dizzy, migraine, fatigue, insomnia, memory loss, decrease in physical, posture disorders and social communication dysfunction), brain damage after surgery and after brain vascular thrombosis.

    pharmacokinetics

    absorption:

Citicolin is soluble in water, bioavailable> 90%. In healthy adults, citicolin is quickly absorbed when used orally. The peak concentration in plasma is achieved through two stages, the first phase at 1 hour after drinking and later, greater, reaching 24 hours after drinking.

    Metabolism and distribution:

citicolin is metabolized in the intestinal wall and liver. The byproduct of external hydrolysis process in the intestinal wall is Choline and cytidin. After absorption, Choline and Cytidin are distributed throughout the body, go into the circulation to participate in many different biosynthesis paths and overcome the brain blood barrier to re -synthesize the citicolin in the brain.

    Era:

Histopherological research using 14C isotopes shows that citicolin is excreted mainly through respiratory and urine CO2, through 2 stages, similar to 2 stages of plasma peak concentrations. The concentration drops sharply after reaching the early stage concentration, then slowed down for the next 4 - 10 hours. The same concentration decreases after reaching the peak concentration later and then the elimination rate is slower. The sale time through the respiratory tract is 56 hours and the urine is 71 hours.
