Indications
Duphalac Syrup Abbott 200ml is indicated in the following cases:
In Lactulose colon is decomposed by bacteria in the colon into low molecular organic acids. These acids reduce the pH in the colon and thanks to the osmotic effect that leads to the volume of substances contained in the colon. These effects stimulate the peristalsis of the colon and restore the normal firmness of the feces. Constipation is corrected and the physiological rhythm of the colon is re -established.
In the liver brain disease, this effect is attributed to the blocking of protein hydrolyzed bacteria by increasing acid -preferred bacteria (eg lactobacillus), retaining ammonia in the form of ion by acidifying substances contained in the colon, low pH in the colon as well as due to penetrating effects, and changing the nitrogen metabolism of bacteria using bacteria to synthesize protein bacteria to synthesize protein protein of the protein bacteria.
However, in this case, it has been realized that increased ammonia increases can not explain the nervous-spiritual manifestations of the liver brain disease. However, ammonia can be considered as a sample for other nitrogen containing substances.
Lactulose is a microbiological substance that increases the growth of beneficial bacteria such as Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus, while potential diseases like Clostridium and Escherichia Coli may be blocked.
This leads to favorable balance for intestinal bacteria.
Dynamic pharmacokinetics
lactulose are slowly absorbed after drinking and to the colon in a constant form. There it is transformed by the bacteria in the colon.
Completely metabolized at doses from 25 - 50 g or 40 - 75 ml; At higher doses, partly can be eliminated in a constant form.
