    Pharmacokological

Pharmacological group: anti -inflammatory drugs corticosteroid, glucocorticoid.

Prednisolone is a glucocorticoid that has anti -inflammatory, anti -allergic and immunosuppressive effects.

Prednisolone only has weak mineralcorticoid effects, so if you take the drug in a short time, there is very little risk of sodium and edema. The anti -inflammatory effect of prednisolone compared to other glucocorticoids: 5mg Prednisolone is valid equal to 4 mg methylprednisolone and equal to 20 mg of hydrocortisone.

Prednisolone inhibits leukocytes and infection into inflamed tissue.

Prednisolone uses systemic sugar to reduce the number of lymphocytes, eosin blood cells, mononuclear leukocytes in peripheral blood and reduce their movement into inflamed areas. The drug also inhibits the function of lymphocytes and macrophages at tissue.

Prednisolone also reduces prostaglandin synthesis due to phospholipase inhibition A2.

corticosteroids also increase lipocortin levels, inhibit phospholipase A2. Finally, the drug reduces cyclooxygenase in inflammatory pangolin, thus reducing the amount of enzyme to produce prostaglandin.

Prednisolone reduces capillary permeability due to the inhibition of the activity of kinine and bacterial internal toxins and reduces the amount of hydrophilia by base leukocytes.

The immunosuppressive effect of glucocorticoid is largely due to the above effects. With low doses, glucocorticoids have anti -inflammatory effects, with high doses of glucocorticoids have immunosuppressive effects.

Prednisolone is also valid in heavy bronchial asthma.

    pharmacokinetic pharmacokinetics

bio -bio -bio -bio -bio -bio -bio -bio -bio -bio -bio -bio -bio -bio -biochemicals of prednisolone approximately 82%. Plasma peak concentration reaches 4 hours after taking the drug.

Prednisolone is metabolized in the liver and metabolites are the form of sulfate and glucuronide esters, excreted into urine and bile. Half lifetime elimination of Prednisolone is approximately 2.5 - 3.5 hours.
