How to use

Dosage

Treatment of scabies

Patients need to bathe with soap, wash all skin scales, then dry people. Apply a thin layer of cream or an external chemical use of 10% crotamiton to the entire skin surface of the body from the neck to the feet, including the soles of the child unable to walk, pay special attention to the skin folds (armpits, groin, toes, fingers ...) and massage gently. Do not apply medicine to the eyes, mouth, mucosa and urethra.

Adults each time applying about 30g of cream is enough. Children need less use.

Apply the second medicine after 24 to 48 hours after the last application, the patient should take a bath to remove all the medicine. Should be applied in the evening. Can repeat treatment after 7 - 10 days if there is clearly a scabies.

It should be noted that after crotamiton treatment, the patient may also last one more to several weeks due to scabies. This symptom does not mean that treatment fails and should not be used again. Can use antihistamine oral and topical corticosteroids to help itch.

Clothes and blankets, patients' beds need to be clean to avoid re -infection. It is not necessary to disinfect the living area of the patient.

Treatment of itching

Apply the drug to the damaged skin and rub gently until the drug is absorbed. Can repeat if needed.

With children under 3 years old, applying medicine 1 time/day.

Symptoms

There is no information on crotamiton overdose when used but applying too much crotamiton cream. If taken/swallow crotamiton can cause burning pain such as irritating burns in the mouth, esophagus, gastric mucosa and symptoms such as vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain. In case of convulsions after taking Crotamiton can be treated with diazepam.

Handling
