Strepsils Cool is an antibacterial tablet to reduce sore throat for children and adults.

Pharmacological

The effect of Dichlorobenzyl Alcohol is associated with antibacterial, antiviral and local anesthetic properties. The local anesthetic effect of Dichlorobenzyl alcohol is thought to be due to reduction of sodium blockade. Disinfection mechanism of Dichlorobenzyl Alcohol has not been fully proven.

Amylmetacresol is an antibacterial and antiviral agent, while preventing Na voltage channels like local anesthetic. The mechanism of anti -virus effects has not been fully proven.
