Strepsils contains 2 active ingredients of 2.4 - Dichlorobenzyl alcohol (DYBENAL) and Amylmetacresol with antibacterial properties used in sore throat . This lozenges are antibacterial tablets, designated to reduce sore throat, for children and adults.
Pharmacokological
In vitro studies show that Dichlorobenzyl alcohol combined with Amylmetacresol shows that the ability to kill some viruses related to the usual cold, observed reducing the amount of virus after medication.
