Sucramed 1 g drug is indicated in the following cases:

Treatment of gastric ulcer, benign duodenum, chronic gastritis. The mechanism of action of the drug is to create a complex with substances such as albumin and fibrinogen of the adhesive leaking fluid with ulcers, making a barrier that prevents the effect of acid, pepsin and bile.

Sucralfate is also mounted on the normal mucosa of the stomach and duodenum but with a much lower concentration than the ulcerative position. Sucralfate also inhibits Pepsin's activity, attached to bile salts, increases Prostaglandin E2 production and stomach mucus.

How to use

Mix the drug package in a glass of water before drinking. Should take medicine at hunger, not used with food.

Dosage

The usual dose for adults is 1 pack, 2 times a day, drinking at hunger, 1 hour before meals or early morning and before going to bed. Use the drug until the ulcer heals completely, usually from 4 to 8 weeks.

Prevention of recurrent ulcers: Reduce the dose to 1 pack daily in the evening. Maintain lasting 3 months and no more than 6 months.

Severe cases can increase the dose to 4 packs per day or more but not more than 8 packs per day.
