Uses

indications

Sympal drugs are indicated in the following cases:

  • The drug is used to treat symptoms of acute to moderate acute pain, such as muscle pain or acute joint pain, dysmenorrhea, toothache. Dexketoprofen trometamol is tromethamine salt of acid S-(+)-2- (3-benzoylphenyl) propionic, an analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-fever, belonging to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (M01AE).

The mechanism of impact of nonsteroidal anti -inflammatory drugs is associated with a decrease in prostaglandin through inhibition of cyclooxygenase path. In particular, the inhibitor of the transition process of arachidonic acid to endoperoxid, PGG2 and PGH2, the substance forming Prostaglandin PGE, PGE2, PGF2Q, PGD2 and Prostacycline PGI2, Thromboxan (TXA2 and TXB2). In addition, the synthesis of prostaglandin can affect other inflammatory intermediaries such as kinin, causing direct impact on direct resonance with direct impacts.

Dexketoprofen has been described as an inhibitor of COX-1 and COX-2 on humans and experimental animals. Clinical studies conducted on some pain models have shown the pain relief effect of dexketoprofen trometamol. In some studies, analgesic effect began to record at 30 minutes after taking the drug. Pain relief effect lasts for 4 to 6 hours.

    pharmacokinetics

On the volunteer, after using dexketoprofen trometamol by oral, maximum cmax concentration achieved after 30 minutes (ranging from 15 to 60 minutes). Dexketoprofen trometamol's distribution and sale time are 0.35 and 1.65 hours respectively. As with other drugs with high plasma proteins (99%) ratio, the distribution of the drug has an average value of less than 0.25 1/kg.

The main excretion path of dexketoprofen is the glucuronic complex then eliminated through the kidneys. After drinking dexketoprofen trometamol is only the form of isomers S-(+) found in the urine, this shows that on the body, there is no process of shifting to isomer R-(-). Multi -dose pharmacokinetics studies have found that AUC after the last remedy is not different from the AUC value obtained when used for a single dose, showing no phenomenon of accumulation of drugs. When using the drug with meals, AUC does not change but the cmax of dexketoprofen trometamol decreases and the absorption rate is delayed (increase Tmax).
