indications
Tetracyclin 500mg is indicated in sensitive bacterial infections:
Pharmacokology
Mechanism of action
Tetracyclin is a broad -spectrum antibiotic that has a bacterial pliers due to inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis. The mechanism of action of tetracycline is due to the ability to attach and inhibit the ribosom function of bacteria, especially attached to the 30S unit of ribosom. Therefore, tetracyclin prevents the process of attaching aminoacyl t - RNA leading to inhibition of protein synthesis. When tetracyclin resistant bacteria, the position of tetracycline on ribosom is transformed. Therefore, tetracycline is not attached to the ribosom of bacteria and ineffective.
Effect spectrum
Tetracycline works on many bacteria that cause both gram -negative and gram -positive bacteria, both aerobic and anaerobic; The drug also works on Chlamydia, Mycoplasma, Rickettsia, and Spirochochete. Mushrooms, yeast, viruses are not sensitive to tetracyclin.
Drug resistance
All tetracyclin has a very important common property that is always used to lead to drug resistance. The abuse of tetracycline has led to wide resistance, reducing or losing effect of the drug.
For bacterial bridges: It is estimated that more than 50% of Staphylococcus strains, over 50% of streptococcus strains (especially over 60% of strains Str. Pneumoniae) are resistant to tetracyclin.
For gram -negative bacilli: estimated over 40 % of Haemophilus Influenzae, over 80 % of Klebsiella, E. Aerogenes, Shigella Flexneri, E. Coli are all resistant to Tetracyclin. All Pseudomonas, Proteus, Serratia strains are also resistant.
According to ASTS data in 1997: In Vietnam, 92.9 % Salmonella Typhi resisted tetracyclin. 41.4% H. Influenzae; 87.9 % K. Pneumoniae; 82.9% E. Aerogenes; 86.7 % Shigella Flexneri; 57.1 % staphylococcus aureus; 82.3 % E. Coli; 50 % Streptococcus Pyogenes; 79.2 % Streptococcus group D has been resistant to DOXYCYCLIN, which means they also resisted tetracyclin.
Pharmacokinetics
absorption
Tetracyclin is absorbed through the gastrointestinal tract. Taking drugs when hungry about 80 % tetracyclin is absorbed. Tetracyclin absorption decreases if there is metal ionic ion 2 and 3 due to sustainable insoluble complexes. In addition, tetracyclin absorption is also affected by milk and food.
Distribution
1 hour after taking a single dose of 250 mg, the drug reaches plasma treatment concentrations (on 1 microgram/ml). The maximum concentration of 2 - 3 micrograms/ml is achieved after 2-3 hours, and the treatment concentration is maintained for about 6 hours.
Tetracyclin is widely distributed in tissues and fluid fluids. The concentration in cerebrospinal fluid is relatively low, but may increase in the case of meningitis. A small amount appears in saliva, tears and lung fluid.
Tetracyclin also appears in breast milk with a concentration that can reach 60 % or more than the concentration of drugs in the mother's blood. Tetracyclin through the placenta and appears in the fetal circulation at a concentration of 25-75 % compared to the concentration of drugs in the mother's blood. Tetracyclin attaches to the bone during the new bone formation, the calcification process and affects the formation of bones and teeth.
Elimination
Tetracyclin's waste time is 8 hours; 55 % of oral doses are discharged through urine in unprecedented form. The concentration of tetracyclin in the urine can reach 300 micrograms/ml after taking a normal dose of 2 hours and maintain within 12 hours. Tetracyclin is also concentrated in the liver, excreted through bile into the intestine and partly reabsorbed through the liver - intestinal circulation.
Before taking Tetracyclin 500mg Domesco Treatment of sensitive bacteria infection (20 blisters x 10 tablets)
How to use
Tetracyclin 500mg hard capsules for oral.
Should drink 1 hour before or 2 hours after eating, drink with plenty of water in a standing position, should not rest immediately after taking the medicine.
Dosage
tetracyclin is usually taken when treating systemic infections.
Be careful when using Tetracyclin for the elderly. Avoid use for kidney failure, if required, you must reduce the dose appropriately.
Specific dose depends on the condition and level of progression of the disease. For a suitable dose, you need to consult a doctor or medical specialist.
What to do when overdose?
In case of overdose, symptomatic treatment and supportive measures.
In an emergency, call the 115 emergency center immediately or go to the nearest local health station.
What to do when you forget 1 dose? However, if the time to relax with the next dose is too short, skip the dose and continue the calendar of the drug. Do not use double dose to compensate for missed dose.
Side Effects
ADR ratio is recorded as 7-20 %, depending on the dose and treatment time.
The most common ADR is digestive:
Common, ADR> 1/100
Stop using tetracyclin. With minor adverse reactions, usually just stop the drug. In case of severe sensitivity or allergic reactions, supportive treatment (airy keeping and using epinephrin, oxygen breathing, antihistamines, corticosteroids ...).
Notify the physician with unwanted effects when using the drug.
Warnings
Before using the drug you need to read the instructions carefully and refer to the information below.
contraindicated
Tetracyclin drugs contraindicated in the following cases:
Be cautious when using
tetracyclin can cause excessive growth of unsure microorganisms, including mushrooms. If the infection occurs, it is necessary to stop the drug and replace it with another appropriate regimen.
When long -term treatment, periodic tests are required to evaluate liver, kidney and hemorrhage.
Some cases of tetracyclin use a sensitive reaction to light manifested by sunburn when exposed to sunlight, so avoid direct contact with the sun or ultraviolet rays and stop the drug as soon as the first symptoms of the Red Red Red
Be cautious for people with renal failure and the elderly.
The effect of the drug on the ability to drive and operate machinery
The drug does not affect when driving and operating machinery.
Use drugs for women during pregnancy and lactation
Pregnancy
Do not use tetracycline antibiotics for pregnant women, the use of tetracyclin in and near pregnancy will cause the following consequences:
Breastfeeding period
Tetracyclin is distributed in breast milk. Although tetracyclin can be created with calcium in breast milk with unprocessed complexes, it is not advisable to use tetracyclin during breastfeeding due to permanent teeth coloring, reducing enamel production, inhibiting bone growth, light sensitive reactions and candidiasis in the mouth and young vagina.
Medicinal interaction
tetracyclin reduces penicillin's activity in the treatment of meningitis caused by pneumococcal and may also be pink.
Plasma tetracycline concentration decreases, resulting in a significant or losing antibiotic treatment activity if used with aluminum, bismut, calcium or magnesi anti -acid drugs. Other antacids such as sodium bicarbonate increases gastric pH can also reduce the bioavailability of some preparations with tetracyclin.
Do not combine tetracyclin with diuretics because this interaction leads to hyperur with hyperur.
Tetracyclin in combination with iron salts significantly reduces the absorption of both drugs in the intestine, leading to a decrease in serum concentration, reduced treatment effect or loss. In case it is necessary to use both of these drugs, the drinking time must be as long as possible to avoid mixing these two drugs in the intestine.
Absorbing tetracyclin significantly (70 - 80 %) if used in the same milk and dairy products, leading to reduction or loss of treatment ability.
Storage
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 ° C in the original packaging, avoid moisture and avoid light.
