paracetamol
Digestive disorders (such as diarrhea, reduced cravings, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain); sweating; Liver poisoning (such as pain, swelling in the upper abdomen) may appear in 2 to 4 days after overdose.
Note: Although digestive disorders and sweating often do not occur, these symptoms occasionally appear within (6 to 14 hours after the drug overdose and will last for about 24 hours).
The first sign of liver damage and abnormalities in the liver function may not appear within 2 to 4 days after taking the drug overdose. The liver function is the largest change usually after 3 to 4 days after the drug overdose.
Hepatic failure can occur after 4 to 6 days after an overdose of the drug. Mental diseases (such as mental disorders, confusion, anxiety or stunning), convulsions, respiratory inhibition, coma, brain edema, stomach bleeding, blood clotting disorders, hypoglycemia, metabolic acid infections, cardiac arrest can appear.
Kidney necrosis causes kidney failure (signs that can include opaque urine or blood color, the amount of sudden decrease in urine) is also recorded when paracetamol overdose, often along with the effect of liver toxicity.
chlorpheniramin maleat
Overdose of Chlorpheniramin Maleat in adults often inhibit the central nervous system such as chicken and coma. In children and adults, brain edema, kidney damage, deep coma, fast vessels, prolonged QRS, heart block, cardiac arrest and death can occur.
phenylephrin HCl
Overdose of Phenylephrin HCI can cause hypertension, headache, convulsions, cerebral hemorrhage, chest drums, paresthesia or vomiting. Headache may be a symptom of hypertension, which can be taken inhibitors inhibitors alpha-adrenergic (like phentolamine).
Phenylephrin can cause peripheral and internal vasoconstriction, reduce blood flow to important organizations, reduce dialysis flow, and can reduce the amount of metabolic acidic urine. Phenylephrin HCI can also cause heart rate slow and reduce heart flow, causing tissue necrosis if blood vessels.
In an emergency, call the 115 emergency center immediately or go to the nearest local health station.
What to do when you forget 1 dose? However, if close to the next dose, skip the forgotten dose and take the next dose at the time as planned. Note that it should not be used double the prescribed dose.

Warnings
Contraindicated of Tiffy Dey
Tiffy Dey is not for children under 6 years old.
For paracetamol: sensitive to paracetamol or any ingredient of the drug.
For chlorpheniramin maleat: Hypersensitivity to antihistamine, infants, premature babies, nursing women, narrow -angle glaucoma, gastrointestinal ulcers, prostate hypertrophy, asthma, bladder neck, pyloric blockage, patients are using Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (IMAO).
For phenylephrin HCl:
Contraindicated for patients with hypersensitivity to drugs, patients with severe hypertension or have ventricular tachycardia. If used for patients with hepatitis or acute pancreatitis may increase ischemia in pancreatic or liver.
Phenylephrin HCI is not used for patients with peripheral thrombosis or intestinal membrane vascular because ischemia may be increased and the area of damage is expanded. In case of use with local anesthesia, phenylephrin HCl is not used in areas of fingers, toes, ears, nose and external genitalia.
Be cautious when using Tiffy Dey
Warning
paracetamol
Liver function weakness:
chlorpheniramin maleat
Respiratory disease:
In general, antihistamines are not indicated for treatment to reduce symptoms of lower respiratory diseases such as asthma, due to their cholinergic resistance, which can cause secretions and difficulty in sputum. However, several studies show that antihistamines can be safe for asthma patients with chronic rhinitis.
sedation, central nervous suppression:
Avoid using with sedative and central neuropathy drugs in patients with a history of sleep apnea.
Allergic reaction:
Hypersensitivity reactions can occur, any drug allergy can occur. Epinephrin 1: 1000 must be available for emergency. Refer to how to handle when acute allergies.
Old people:
Antihistamine drugs can cause dizziness, fainting, hypotension and confusion in the elderly. Can reduce the dose if needed.
Pregnant women:
A few cases related to deformities have been discovered, but not clinical significance. Use Chlorpheniramin Maleat when it is really necessary and when the benefits have been considered and the risk of being able to encounter for the fetus. Do not use during the last 3 months of pregnancy. Babies and babies who are born may have a serious reaction (such as convulsions, ....).
breastfeeding women:
The presence of antihistamine in breast milk has not been reported.
Children:
Antipple of antihistamines can cause hallucinations, convulsions and deaths in children. These drugs can cause insecurity. In contrast, for infants can cause irritation.
phenylephrin HCl
Pregnant women:
breastfeeding women:
So far it is unknown whether the drug is distributed into breast milk or not, so be cautious for nursing women.
Precautions
paracetamol
If there is a hypersensitive reaction, stop using the drug. If there is severe pain, high fever or continue fever, it may be severe. If the pain lasts more than 5 days, and the arthritis is still red in children under 12 years of age, it is necessary to consult a doctor immediately.
Serious side effects on the skin wear the incidence is not high but serious, even life-threatening including Steven-Johnson syndrome (SJS), Poisoned skin necrosis syndrome: Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis (Ten) or Lyell syndrome, acute pustules syndrome: Acute Generized Exanthematousis (AGEP).
Symptoms of the above syndrome are described as follows:
Steven-Johnson syndrome (SJS): is a puffiness, puffiness allergy, localized puffiness around natural cavities: eyes, nose, mouth, ears, genitals and anus. In addition, it may be accompanied by high fever, pneumonia, liver dysfunction. Diagnosis of Steven-Johnson Syndrome (SJS) when at least 2 naturally damaged cavities.
Poisoned skin necrosis syndrome (Ten): is the most severe allergic, including: Diverse lesions in the skin: measles rash, pink pink rash, roses or bulls, damage quickly spread throughout the body; Eye mucosa damage: corneal inflammation, pus conjunctivitis, corneal ulcer; Damage to gastrointestinal mucosa: stomatitis, mouth mucosa, pharyngitis, throat, esophagus, stomach, intestines; damage to the mucous membranes of genital tract, urinary tract; There are also serious systemic symptoms such as fever, gastrointestinal bleeding, pneumonia, glomerulonephritis, hepatitis, ... high mortality rate of 15 - 30%.
Excellent pustules syndrome (AGEP): Small sterile pustules arise on the spreading platform. Damage often appears in folds such as armpits, groin and face, then can spread the whole body. Systemic symptoms are often fever, neutral leukemia tests.
When detecting signs of rash on the first skin or any other hypersensitive reactions, patients need to stop using the drug. People who have had severe skin reactions caused by Paracetamol must not use the drug again and when they come to medical examination and treatment, they need to notify the medical staff on this issue.
chlorpheniramin maleate
anti -cholinergic effect:
Light sensitivity:
Can happen, measuring that patients need to wear hats, wide -brimmed hats, protective clothing ... to avoid exposure to ultraviolet rays or sunlight.
phenylephrin HCI
Phenylephrin HCI is often used in combination with other drugs, so pay attention to all ingredients in the formula.
Caution and special warning when using Tiffy Dey
Doctors need to warn the patient about signs of serious skin reactions such as Steven-Johnson syndrome (SJS), toxic skin necrosis syndrome (Ten) or Lyell syndrome, acute pustules syndrome (AGEP).
The ability to drive and operate machinery
No report.
Pregnancy
paracetamol
paracetamol passes the placenta. Used during pregnancy with a short -term treatment is safe. High daily doses will cause serious anemia in mothers and dangerous kidney disease in newborns.
chlorpheniramin maleat
phenylephrin HCI
Breastfeeding period
paracetamol
paracetamol excreted breast milk with low concentrations; There are no harmful reactions on breastfeeding.
chlorpheniramin maleat
It is not sure if Chlorpheniramin Maleat or dexchlorpheniramin is distributed into breast milk or not, but other antihistamine drugs (such as diphenhydramin) have been found in breast milk. Because there is the potential to cause serious harmful reactions to breastfed babies, it is necessary to consider the stop breastfeeding and stop taking the drug, taking into account the importance of the drug for the mother.
phenylephrin HCI
So far it is unknown whether the drug is distributed to breast milk or not, so it is necessary to use it carefully for breastfeeding women.
TIFFY Dey
paracetamol
Paracetamol's liver poisoning can increase when high doses or use for a long time by liver -induced agents.
Paracetamol's treatment effect may be reduced when used with: barbiturat, rifampicin, hyantin, carbamazepin, sulfinPyrazon.
Ethanol alcohol: When taken with the drug, it may increase the ability to be toxic when taking large doses or overdose.
Activated carbon: Drink immediately to reduce the absorption of paracetamol.
chlorpheniramin maleat
Milk inhibitors may increase the antibodgic resistance of antihistamine drugs. The resonance effect causes the central nervous system to appear.
phenylephrin HCI
The effect of increasing the blood pressure of phenylephrin decreases when the patient has previously used alpha-adrenergic blockers like phentolamine mesylat. Phentolamine can be used to treat hypertension caused by phenylephrin HCI process.
When a vasoconstrictor is used in combination with drugs that enriched hypertension. If phenylephrin HCI is used for women during childbirth to lose the effect of lowering blood pressure or added to local anesthetic solution, obstetricians should pay attention that some drugs can cause severe hypertension for a long time and may rupture brain blood vessels during the postpartum process.
Products that contain phenylephrin HCI and a sympathetic stimulus cause bronchiectasis should not be used with epinephrin or other sympathetic stimulus agents because it can cause severe heart palpitations or severe arrhythmia.
The effects on the heart causing vascular shrinkage of phenylephrin increased when previously used monoaminoxidase enzyme inhibitors because the metabolism of phenylephrin was reduced. Atropin sulfate prevents slow heart rate reflexes and increases vasoconstrictor reaction caused by phenylephrin HCI.
Hematuria increases may occur if used phenylephrin HCI for patients who are using barley spurs injection products like Ergonovin Maleat.
Taking Furosemid or other diuretics may reduce response to hypertension such as phenylephrin HCI.
