indications
Tore - d drugs are indicated in the following cases:
Small eye fluid containing Tobramycin and Dexamethason are indicated for eye inflammation in the eye response to steroids that are indicated for corticosteroids and when bacterial infections are infected by bacteria or bacterial eye infections.
Small steroids are indicated in cases of lashic conjunctivitis and eye conjunctivitis, keratitis and the front of the eyeball when accepting the inherent risks of the use of steroids in conjunctivitis to reduce inflammation and edema. The drug is also prescribed in chronic phenomenon before chronic and chemical corneal damage, radiation or thermal burns or foreign objects.
The use of drugs in combination with an antibacterial ingredient is indicated when there is a high risk of shallow infections in the eye or when there is a prediction of the possibility of a large number of bacteria present in.
Tobramycin in this product is active against common bacteria that cause eye diseases as follows:
ATC code: 501ca01.
dexamethasone: The effect of corticosteroids in treating eye inflammation has been recognized. Corticosteroids have anti -inflammatory effects through inhibiting the adhesive molecules of blood vascular cells, cyclooxygenase I or II, and the manifestations of cytokin, leading to a reduction in the expression of intermediate inflammatory substances and inhibit the approach of white blood cells to the intravascular, thereby preventing their movement on the inflammatory tissue of the eye. Dexamethason is one of the substances with strong anti -inflammatory activity, and low mineralocorticoid activity compared to other steroids.
Tobramycin: Tobramycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic with strong activity, wide antibacterial spectrum and fast effect. The drug acts on bacterial cells mainly through inhibiting the synthesis and assembly of polypeptide chains on ribosom. Tobramycin in preparations works against sensitive bacteria.
Determination of sensitivity is based on the following minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) used to classify bacterial strains into 3 sensitive levels (s), intermediate (i) and resistance (R): s ≤ 4 µg/mi, r ≥ 8µg/ml. The frequency of drug resistance may vary between regions, the time of sampling and information about local drug resistance, especially when treating severe cases of infections. Must consult a consultant when knowing the percentage of drug resistance in the locality but has not determined the effect of Tobramycin with some infections. The following information only gives relatively instructions on bacterial sensitivity to Tobramycin in preparations.
Determination of bacterial sensitivity is very useful in predicting the clinical effect of antibiotics when using the whole body. However, these values may not be applied to local eye drops due to the higher local concentration. Many bacteria that have been classified as anti -drug -based drugs are well treated when used on the spot.
In vitro studies show that Tobramycin has the strongest effect against the majority of strains of pathogens in the eye and on the skin as common as listed in the following table:
Before taking Torexvis eye drops 0.3% Gia Nguyen Phong and treat inflammation and prevent infections (5ml)
How to use
How to use: Shake the vial before use. To avoid the infection into the small tip of the drug and the drug chaos, do not let the head of the drug come into contact with the eyelids, the area around the eyes or any objects. Close the lid when not in use. In case of simultaneous use with eye drops elsewhere, should take 5 minutes apart. Ointments should be used last.
DosageAdults: Put on each eye 1 drops every 4-6 hours. In the first 24 - 48 hours, the dose can be increased to 1 drop every 2 hours. Should reduce the number of small drugs when clinical signs are improved. Caution should not stop treating too early. Elderly: Clinical studies show that there is no need to adjust the dose when taking drugs in the elderly.
Children: Torexvis-D can be used in children over 2 years old with the dose as in adults. Safety and effectiveness of drugs for children under 2 years of age has not been established and there are no specific figures.
Note: The above dose is for reference only. Specific dosage depends on the condition and level of progression of the disease. For a suitable dose, you need to consult a doctor or medical specialist.
What to do when overdose? When the eyes are overdose, you can wash your eyes with warm warm water to eliminate.
In case of emergency, call the 115 emergency center immediately or go to the nearest local health station.
What to do when you forget 1 dose? However, if the time to relax with the next dose is too short, skip the dose and continue the calendar of the drug. Do not use double doses to compensate for missed dose.
Side Effects
When using Torexvis - D, you may experience unwanted effects (ADR) such as:
The following adverse reactions have been reported in clinical and data tests during the circulation of drugs classified according to the following conventions: Very common (≥ 1/10), common (≥ 1/100 to
Warnings
Before using the drug you need to read the instructions carefully and refer to the information below.
Contraindicated
Torexvis - D contraindicated in the following cases:
Be cautious when using
need to be very careful when taking the drug for patients in the following cases:
Only use small eyes on the spot, not to drink or inject.
Use of long -lasting corticosteroids (over 24 days) can lead to glaucoma/glaucom, accompanied by optic nerve damage, vision and market defects, and cataracts below.
Should monitor regular pressure. This is especially necessary in patients who are children because of the risk of glaucoma due to steroids in children under 6 years old and appear earlier in adults. The frequency and duration of treatment should be carefully considered and should monitor the glaucoma from the beginning of treatment to soon detect glaucoma caused by steroids in children.
The ability to increase glaucoma and/or cataracts is higher than in patients at risk (such as diabetes patients).
Long -term use can lead to secondary infection due to decrease in the body's response. Corticosteroids may reduce the body's resistance, leading to infections, fungal or viral infections and cover the signs of infection.
For some patients may occur sensitive phenomenon with aminoglycosides used on the spot. If the sensitive reaction occurs, stop the drug.
There may be cross -resistance with other aminoglycosides.
Serious undesirable effects include nervous, ear and kidney toxicity that can occur in patients using systemic aminoglycosides. Should be careful when used simultaneously.
Should suspect fungal infections in patients with prolonged corneal ulcer. If fungal infection occurs, corticosteroids must be discontinued.
For prolonged antibiotic use can lead to excessive growth of non -sensitive bacteria strains, including fungi. If superinfection occurs, the appropriate treatment should be started.
Using small corticosteroids can slow down the wound. Tocalide use of steroids and NSAIDs can increase the risk of corneal ulcer.
In thinning diseases of the cornea or fracture, there are cases where the bridge has occurred when using local corticosteroids.
Benzalkonium chloride component has been reported to cause spotted keratitis and/or corneal ulcer. Benzalkonium chloride can also cause eye irritation and change soft contact lenses. Avoid exposed to soft contact lenses.
During the treatment of infection or inflammation in the eye, do not wear contact lenses. In case the patient is allowed to wear contact lenses, they must remove the lenses before the drug and only wear it after 15 minutes.
The effect of the drug on the ability to drive and operate machinery
Torexvis-D eye is not significant or negligible to drive and operate machinery. There is no research on the effects of drugs on driving and operating machinery. Like other eye drops, temporary blurred vision or vision disorders can affect the ability to drive and control machines. If you look blurred when the eyes are small, the patient needs to wait until it is clear and then drove and controls the machine. A few patients may experience unwanted effects of the drug such as headache, dizziness that affects the ability to drive and control machines. In that case, patients should not drive or operate machinery.
Use drugs for women during pregnancy and lactation
Pregnancy
There is no adequate and controlled research in pregnant women. Animal studies with Tobramycin injected subcutaneously not detected the teratogenic effect. Use high -doxic body aminoglycosides. However, after small eyes, the amount of drug absorption is very low and Tobramycin does not cause direct or indirect harm to reproduction. Using topical corticosteroids for pregnant animals can cause abnormalities for the development of the fetus, including the palate. Animal and clinical data shows that the use of glucocorticoid during pregnancy may increase the risk of fetal retardation in the uterus, cardiovascular diseases and/or metabolism and/or decline in neurological. The use of drugs during pregnancy, especially in the first 3 months, is only indicated after assessing the need for kidney benefits - risks. Therefore, it is necessary to notify the doctor if you are pregnant. So far, the use of drugs in humans has not shown any evidence of affecting the fetus. However, prolonged use does not rule out the possibility of causing growth disorders in the fetus. Treatment at the end of pregnancy can inhibit the biosynthesis of the body's glucocorticoid biosynthesis after birth. Therefore, only use Torexvis-D eye chaos for pregnant women if the benefits for the mother outstanding risk for the fetus
Breastfeeding period
corticosteroids appear in breast milk after using systemic sugar and can inhibit growth, interfere with endogenous corticosteroid biosynthesis or cause other negative effects. It is unknown whether using topical corticosteroids can lead to body absorption and excretion into breast milk with the amount of detection or not. Torexvis-D should not be used during breastfeeding unless the benefits are out of risk.
Drug interaction
no specific interactions are reported for eye drops. Tocalide use of steroids and NSAIDs can increase the risk of corneal ulcer.
Storage
Leave a cool place, avoid light, temperatures below 30⁰C.
To be out of reach of children, read the instructions carefully before use.
