Uses

Indications

Trisova Tablet is indicated in the following cases: Indications for adults in supplementary therapy/support for existing treatment for symptoms in stable angina patients with adequate control or non -tolerant patients with other angina treatment therapies.

Pharmacokology

Mechanism of action: Trimetazidin inhibits the oxidation of fatty acids by inhibiting Long - Chain 3 - Ketoacyl - CoA thiolase enzymes in ischemic cells, energy obtained during oxygen glucose requires less oxygen consumption than oxidation. Promoting glucose oxidation will help optimize cell energy processes, thus maintaining appropriate energy metabolism during anemia.

Pharmacological effects: In patients with ischemic heart anemia, trimetazidin acts as a metabolic substance, which helps conserve high intracellular energy levels in myocardial cell. Trimetazidin has anti -anemia effect but does not affect hemodynamics.

pharmacokinetic pharmacokinetics

trimetazidin is quickly absorbed and reached the peak concentration in plasma before 2 hours from drinking. The maximum concentration of the drug in plasma, after using a single dose of trimetazidin 20mg, reaches about 55ng/ml. The equilibrium of the medication in the blood is reached from 24 - 36 hours after repeating a dose and is very stable during treatment. With a 4.8 -liter distribution integral, the transition level of the drug is good for the tissue. Low protein mounting ratio, the measured value in vitro is 16 %. Trimetazidin's waste sale time is 6 hours. The drug is excreted mainly in urine in the form of unprovered.

Elderly patients

Elderly patients may have a higher level of trimetazidin sensitivity than normal due to the impaired kidney function by age.

  • For patients with average renal impairment (the clearine clearance of 30 - 60ml/minute): recommended dose is 20mg/time x 2 times/day, morning and evening.
  • Be cautious when calculating the dose for elderly patients (See also the contraindications and caution when taking the drug).

    for children

Trimetazidine can cause or worsen Parkinson's symptoms (Run, slow and difficult exercise, increase muscle tone), so patients, especially elderly patients, need regular checks and monitoring. In suspicious cases, patients need to be taken to neurologists for appropriate examination.

When encountering movement disorders such as Parkinson's symptoms, vacuum syndrome, tremor, unstable gait, it is necessary to immediately stop using trimetazidin.

These cases are rarely occurring and often recover after stopping the drug. Most patients recover after stopping the drug for about 4 months. If Parkinson's symptoms continue to happen for more than 4 months after the stop, it is necessary to consult neurologists.

may have a self, unstable gait or hypotension, especially in patients who are taking medications for hypertension.

Be careful when prescribing trimetazidin for patients with high sensitivity levels such as:

  • Patients with average renal impairment.
  • Patients over 75 years old.
  • The ability to drive and operate machinery
