Vashasan MR 35 mg is indicated in the following cases:

Vashasan MR 35 mg is indicated for adults in supplementary therapy/support for existing treatments to treat symptoms in patients with stable angina without adequate control or non -tolerated patients with other angina therapy.

Pharmacokology

Mechanism of action:

Trimetazidin inhibits the beta oxidation of fatty acids by inhibiting 3-ketoacyl-coa thiolase-chain enzymes in ischemic cells, energy obtained during glucose oxidation needs less oxygen consumption than oxidation beta.
