Uses
Indications
Vastarel 20 mg is indicated in the case:
Vastarel 20 mg is indicated for adults in additional therapies to support existing treatments to treat symptoms in patients with stable angina without adequate control or non -tolerated patients with other angina therapy.
Pharmacokinus
trimetazidine inhibits the beta oxidation of fatty acids by inhibiting dragon enzymes 3 ketoacyl-coa thiolase, stimulating glucose oxidation. In ischemic cells, energy obtained during oxidation of glucose has less oxygen consumption less than the oxidation beta process will help optimize cell energy processes, thus maintaining appropriate energy metabolism during anemia.
Pharmacological effect
In patients with ischemic anemia, trimetazidine acts as a metabolic substance, which helps conserve high intra -intra -intra -intra -intra -intra -intracellular energy levels in myocardial cell. Trimetazidine has anti -anemia effect but does not affect hemodynamics. Due to the conservation of energy metabolism in cells reduced tissue oxygen or anemia, trimetazidine prevents the reduction of intracellular ATP levels, thus ensuring the activity of ionic pumps and sodium-peri-peri-membrane flows, while maintaining endothelial balance.
In animals, trimetazidine:
Helps maintain energy metabolism in the heart and sensory nerves in ischemic attacks.
Intracellular (acidic) reduction and changing ionic flow through the membrane caused by ischemia.
Reducing the movement and infection of the multi -core neutrophils into ischemic heart tissue and into the heart tissue. Also reduces the size of experimental infarction.
has this effect without any direct hemodynamic effect.
In humans, studies with control patients with angina patients shows trimetazidine:
After drinking, trimetazidine is absorbed quickly and the peak concentration in plasma is reached within 2 hours. After a single dose of 20 mg trimetazidine, plasma peak concentration is about 55 ng/ml. While repeating, stable state is achieved after 24 hours to 36 hours and remains stable during the treatment period.
Distribution:
The distribution volume is 4.8 l/kg, suggesting that the diffusion is good in the tissue. Low protein mounting ratio, in vitro mounting ratio is 16%.
Era:
Trimetazidine is excreted mainly in urine, in a constant form. Selling time is about 6 hours.
Before taking Vastarel 20mg Servier Treatment Treatment (60 tablets)
How to use
oral medications for meals.
Dosage
A tablet of 20 mg/time x 3 times/day, with meals.
Patients with average renal impairment (Creatinine clearance 30 - 60 ml/minute):
Dosage recommended is 1 tablet of 20 mg/time x 2 times/day, morning and evening, with meals.
Elderly patients:
Elderly patients may have a higher level of trimetazidine sensitivity than normal due to the decline in kidney function by age. For patients with average renal impairment (Creatinine clearance 30 - 60 ml/min), the recommended dose is 1 tablet 20 mg/time x 2 times/day, morning and dark, use with meals. Caution should be careful when calculating the dose for elderly patients (see more contraindications and warnings and caution).
Children:
The safety and effectiveness of trimetazidine for patients under 18 years of age has not been evaluated. There is currently no data on this patient object. In all cases, it is necessary to strictly follow the prescription of the doctor.
Note: The above dose is for reference only. Specific dosage depends on the condition and level of progression of the disease. For a suitable dose, you need to consult a doctor or medical specialist.
What to do when overdose?
Notice immediately to the doctor.
What to do when forgetting 1 dose? However, if the time to relax with the next dose is too short, skip the dose and continue the calendar of the drug. Do not use double dose to compensate for missed dose.

Trimetazidine can cause or worsen Parkinson's symptoms (Run, slow and difficult exercise, increase muscle tone), so patients, especially elderly patients, need regular checks and monitoring. In suspicious cases, patients need to be taken to neurologists for appropriate examination. When encountering movement disorders such as Parkinson's symptoms, feet syndrome, tremor, unstable gait, it is necessary to immediately stop using trimetazidine.
These cases are rarely occurring and often recover after stopping the drug. Most patients recover after stopping the drug for about 4 months. If Parkinson's symptoms continue to happen for more than 4 months after taking the drug, it is necessary to exchange with neurologists.
may have a self, unstable gait or hypotension, especially in patients who are taking medications for hypertension.
