Uses
indications
Vidpoic drugs are indicated effectively in the treatment of sensory disorders caused by diabetic neuritis.
Pharmacokic
alpha lipoic acid (also known as poioctic acid) is an endogenous vitamin-like substance, which has the function of a co-enzyme in oxidation reaction to form carbon dioxide of keto acids.
The hyperglycemia in diabetes is a result of the accumulation of glucose in the parent protein in the blood vessels and the formation of substances called the final products of the glycosylation process (Ages: Advanced Glycosylation End Products).
This process leads to a decrease in internal blood flow and hypoxemia/ neuropathic anemia, combined with an increase in free oxygen reproduction, which can be identified in peripheral nerves such as the decomposition of antioxidants like glutathion.
Dynamic pharmacokinetics
thioctic acid (or alpha lipoic acid) is absorbed quickly after drinking. Absolute bioavailability (when compared to intravenously) of Alpha Lipoic Acid approximately 20%. With rapid distribution results into the tissue in the body, the semi -cancellation time in the plasma of Alpha Lipoic acid in humans is approximately 25 minutes.
The relative bioavailability of alpha lipoic acid when used in solid form is 60% higher than the oral solution.
Maximum concentration in plasma is approximately 4µg/ml is measured about 0.5 hours after taking 600mg of alpha lipoic acid.
Alpha lipoic acid is excreted mainly through the kidneys, accounting for large quantities (80-90%) in the form of metabolites, only a small amount of non-change substance is found in urine.
Biological changes occur mainly due to oxidation of the chain-cuttation and/or S-methylization of isotopic thiol. On Invitro, Alpha Lipoic Acid reacts with metal ionic complexes (as with cisplatin).
Alpha Lipoic Acid forms a hard -to -soluble complex with sugar molecules.

How to use
Drink whole tablets with a sufficient amount of water when hungry. Food can reduce the absorption of the drug if used simultaneously. Therefore, patients need to keep hungry stomachs when taking the drug and the right time to take the drug is 30 minutes before breakfast.
Because polygonal disease is a chronic disease, long -term treatment can be required.
Dosage
drugs use 1 tablet/day. Drink about 30 minutes before breakfast.
Note: The above dose is for reference only. Specific dosage depends on the condition and level of progression of the disease. For a suitable dose, you need to consult a doctor or medical specialist.
What to do when overdose?
After intentionally or unintentionally drink large amounts of 10 to 40g alpha lipoic acid with alcohol, severe poisoning and sometimes deadly cause.
Signs of clinical poisoning can first manifest in mental disorders or consciousness disorders, and typically develop general seizures and lactic acid infections.
In addition, reducing blood glucose, shock, globulin muscle melting muscle, thrombosis (dic), bone marrow weakness and multi -organs have been described as a result of high doses of alpha lipoic acid.
Treatment opinions in case of overdose:
In case of suspicion of severe poisoning caused by Alpha Lipoic Acid (such as taking a dosage> 10 tablets 600mg in adults and> 50mg/kg of weight in children) immediately takes patients to medical agencies with all the basic emergency conditions of poisoning cases (such as including vomiting, stomach wash, activated charcoal, etc.).
Treatment of general seizures, lactic acid infections and other life -threatening consequences of poisoning should be done with modern supporting care principles and need symptom treatment. Benefits of hemorrhage and peritoneal fertilizer or filtering methods to eliminate alpha lipoic acid are not sure.
What to do when you forget 1 dose? However, if the time to relax with the next dose is too short, skip the dose and continue the calendar of the drug. Do not use double dose to compensate for missed dose.

Warnings
Before using the drug you need to read the instructions carefully and refer to the information below.
Contraindicated
Vidpoic drugs contraindicated in the following cases:
Be cautious when using
using Alpha Lipoic Acid can cause insulin autoimmune syndrome (Insulin Auto-Synmune Syndronme-AS). Therefore, caution in this case.
In the composition of Vidpoic 600 drug, Ponaceau 4R color doors can cause allergic reactions. Therefore, caution in the case of allergies to color excipients 4r.
The effect of driving and operating machinery
does not affect.
Pregnant and lactating women
in accordance with the principles of pharmaceutical use, the product should only be used for pregnant and lactating women after careful consideration of the ratio between benefits and risks.
Pregnant and lactating women should treat with alpha lipoic acid only when they follow the instructions of the physician, even when studying toxicity to the reproductive system does not indicate any results that affect fertility and embryo development and no signs that cause toxic to pregnancy.
Do not know whether the acidoctic acid is secreted into human milk or not.
Interactive drug
alpha lipoic acid causes the effect of cisplatin when used simultaneously.
Alpha Lipoic Acid is a metal complex and so it should not be used simultaneously with metal compounds (such as iron, magnesium, milk containing calcium). Alpha Lipoic Acid is used for about 30 minutes before breakfast, products containing metal compounds mentioned at noon or afternoon.
Hypoglycemic effects may occur when combined with insulin or other diabetes medications. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor blood sugar closely, especially in the early stages of Alpha Lipoic acid therapy.
In special cases, reducing insulin or oral diabetes treatment drugs is necessary to prevent the manifestations of hypoglycemia.
Note: Regular use of alcohol has a high risk agent for the development and growth of neurological diseases and therefore can reduce the success of treatment with Alpha Lipoic Acid. Therefore, patients with diabetes with diabetes should be recommended to avoid alcohol. This also needs to propose with the time of untreated time.
