Pharmacokology

Dienogest is a noraSastosterone conductor that does not have androgen activity but has an androgen -resistant activity equivalent to about one third of the activity of cyproterone acetate. Dienogest links to the progesterone receptors of the human uterus with only 10% of progesterone's relative affinity. Despite low affinity with progesterone receptors, dienogest has a mimic progestogen effect in vivo. Dienogest has no androgen activity, mineralocorticoid or glucocorticoid significantly in vivo.
