indication

vismed is a drug prescribed in the following cases:

  • The treatment of dry eyes and can improve the surface damage of the eye due to a number of causes and/or disease, for example: After eye surgery due to cataracts, lasik, prolonged use of eye drops containing preservatives in the treatment of glaucoma. Time feels dry eyes, burning and eye fatigue such as smoke, dry heat, air conditioning, using a computer screen extending or wearing contact lenses. Special physical properties of sodium hyaluronate gives Vismed elastic - viscous, mucous and water -retaining properties. Visced creates a stable wrap on the eye surface that is only removed by blinking. Visced combined reduces long -term discomfort and brings maximum comfort. Visced is well tolerated due to its special ingredients.

The drug does not contain preservatives. In clinical studies, Sodium Hyaluronate in Visced shows that stabilizing tears and increases the time of taning of tears (up time - up time). This leads to reducing subjective symptoms such as burning sensation, fear of light, pain, feeling of exoticity and objective signs including the time of melting tears, tears, dyeing with red and fluorescein along with improving the comfort and health for people.

VISMED's weakness also improves the effectiveness of treatment in dry eye patients by compensating for increased tear tongs in dry eye patients. Increasing the concentration of osmol tears, the core mechanism of dry eye disease, stimulating the serial inflammation and the dead cells under the program leads to damage to the surface of the eyeball. Therefore, weak eye drops will be a reasonable choice to treat dry eyes. Evidence of many studies shows that the treatment of weak eye drops (150 mosms/l) provides better results in improving the signs and symptoms of dry eye disease compared to isothermic eye drops (300 mosm/l).

Sodium Hyaluronate in vis and also shows a significant reduction in the manifestation of the CD44 indicator in the hyaluronic acid receptor that manifests excess in inflammatory diseases and increases the expression of protective indicators such as mucus cells and radio cells, CD63 and UIC2. It also reduces the expression of other inflammatory indicators such as the HLA - Dr leukemia and CD - 40 differentiation cluster and reduces the expression of the indicators of the muscle that causes cell death according to the program like FAS and APO 2.7. Moreover, sodium hyaluronate can stimulate the migration and proliferation of corneal epithelium, resulting in a quick healing of corneal wounds. The results from many studies have shown that the possibility of sodium hyaluronate increases the healing rate, reduces wound area and improves the surface damage of the eyeball.

Some studies also show the benefits of sodium hyaluronate in reducing the toxicity of benzalkonium chlorid (bak) on the eyeball surface. Thus, this explains the protection effect, anti -inflammatory, reducing bak toxicity and healing of Visced wounds.

    Dynamic pharmacokinetics

Due to high molecular weight, sodium hyaluronate in vismed is unable to pass through the conjunctiva and cornea.

After small sodium hyaluronate into the eyes, the sale time of T1/2 to eliminate the drug from the aquatic fluid for about 10.5 hours and no substance is detected after 24 hours. After using sodium hyaluronate in the gastrointestinal tract, this molecule is effectively metabolized in the liver (t1/2 = 2.5 - 5.5 minutes).
