flavoxat HCl against the muscle spasm of the urinary tract and the effect directly on the muscle. By combating the spasm of the urinary tract smooth muscle, pain and discomfort accompanied by a lot of urinary disorders such as urination, difficult urine, urination, night urine and bedwetting.
The pharmacological effect of the drug is considered due to the direct impact on the urinary smooth muscle rather than indirectly blocking autonomous nervous system receptors such as anti -cholinergic drugs. Inhibiting phosphodiesterase with the drug itself or a metabolic substance is considered as a copper to determine the mechanism of action of the drug.
flavoxat HCl has anti -spasms on smooth muscle (like papaverin). In vitro, anti -spasms have been proven on the small intestine, bladder, uterus, seminal vesicles and colon of many animals. Flavoxat HCl is reported to increase bladder capacity in patients with signs of bladder spasticity, which may be due to the results of the impact of the drug on the bladder muscle.
