Uses

Indications

ZT - Amox 200/28.5 mg Bilim 70 ml is indicated in the following cases:

  • Mild respiratory infections caused by H. Influenzae and M.Catrhalis strains produced beta - lactamase.
  • otitis media caused by H. Influenzae and M.Catrhalis strains producing betalactamase.

  • Sinusitis caused by H.influenzae and M.Catrhalis strains producing betalactamase.
  • Skin infections and skin structure caused by S. Aureus, E.coli and Klebsiella spp Beta - Lactamase.

Urinary tract infections caused by E.coli and Klebsiella spp and Enterobacter spp Beta - Lactamase.

    Pharmacology

ZT - Amox epidemic is a oral broad spectral antibiotic in combination with a semi -synthetic antibiotic amoxicillin and a beta - lactamase inhibitor, potassium clavulanate. Amoxicillin is a substance similar to ampicillin originating from basic penicillins, acid 6 - aminopenicilanic.

Clavulanic Acid is made up of the fermentation of Streptomyces Clavuligerus, is a beta lactam that is structured related to penicillins and is capable of disabling many types of betalactamase by blocking the operating positions of enzymes. Clavulanic acid mainly against intermediate plasmid activity of clinical beta lactamase, often the cause of resistance to penicillins and cephalosporins.

    Dynamic pharmacokinetics

Clavulanic acid does not affect the pharmacokinetic properties of amoxicillin.

    absorption

Amoxicilin and potassium clavulanate are well absorbed through the gastrointestinal tract after drinking. Oral bioavailability of amoxicillin and clavulanic acid corresponds to 90% and 75%. They are not affected by food. Amoxicillin and potassium clavulanate reaches the peak concentration in the serum within 1 hour after drinking.

Amoxicillin concentration in serum is achieved after taking ZT - Amox similar to after taking the individual amoxicillin at the same level. When increasing the dose of amoxicillin, the amount of absorption through the gastrointestinal tract only decreases, the peak concentration in the serum and the area under the curve (AUC) of the drug generally increases the linear with the dose increase. Both components of ZT - Amox are associated with low serum protein (amoxicillin - 20% and clavulanic acid - 30%) and approximately 70% in non -linked form.

    Distribution

Amoxicillin and Clavulanic acid diffuse well into the middle ear, abdominal fluid, pleural fluid, urine, intestinal mucosa, bone, bile, bronchial mucosa, female genitalia. Amoxicillin diffuses easily into most tissues and body fluids, except for cerebrospinal fluid. When the meninges are inflamed, the invasion of amoxicillin and clavulanic acid increases.

    Metabolism

About 10% amoxicillin and 50% clavulanic acid are metabolized in the liver.

    Elimination

Amoxicilin/Clavulanic Acid is mainly eliminated through the kidneys. After oral use for patients with normal kidney function, the sale time of amoxicillin is about 1.3 hours and of Clavulanic acid is 1 hour. Approximately 50% to 78% amoxicillin and approximately 25% to 40% Clavulanic acid are eliminated in the form of unchanged urine within the first 6 hours after drinking.

Before taking ZT-Amox drink powder 200/28.5mg Bilim treat infections (70ml)

    How to use

add water to about half a jar and shake strongly to homogeneous flour. Wait 5 minutes for uniform dispersion. Add water to the marking line on the label and shake hard again. 5 ml of mixed mixture contains: 200 mg of amoxicillin and 28.5 mg of clavulanic acid. Shake the mixture before use. Do not freeze.

Treatment should stop after 14 days.

To minimize the possibility of non -tolerance through the gastrointestinal tract, should take medicine right before meals.

    Dosage

    Adults

Mild to moderate infection: 25/3.6 mg (amoxicillin/clavulanic acid)/kg/day for every 12 hours.

    Severe infections: 45/6.4 mg (amoxicillin/clavulanic acid)/kg/day every 12 hours.

    Children

Children aged about 2 months to 2 years: in children aged 2 months to 2 years old, mild, medium or severe infections, dose should be calculated by body weight. Daily dose should be divided equally and indicated every 12 hours.

Children from 2 to 6 years old: Children from 2 years old to 6 years old, mild and medium infections should be indicated as follows:

  • Children from 2 - 6 years old (13 - 21 kg) mild infection: 25/3.6 mg (amoxicillin/clavulanic acid)/kg/day, divided 2 times, each time 5 ml, each 12 hours apart.
  • Children from 2 - 6 years old (13 - 21 kg) Average infection: 45/6.4 mg (amoxicillin/clavulanic acid)/kg/day divided 2 times, each 10 ml each, each 12 hours apart.

In heavy bacterial infections in children with body weight over 8 kg, ZT - Amox 400 mg/57 mg (Amoxicillin/Acid Clavulanic) is recommended.

ZT - Amox 200 mg/28.5 mg (amoxicillin/clavulanic acid) is not recommended for children under 2 months of age due to the incomplete kidney function.

    Patients with impaired renal function

ZT - Amox epidemic is not recommended for patients with creatinine clearance

Patients with creatinine clearance greater than 30 ml/minute: No dose change.

Note: The above dose is for reference only. Specific dosage depends on the condition and level of progression of the disease. For a suitable dose, you need to consult a doctor or medical specialist. What do

do when overdose? In the case of overdose, gastric and water -imbalance symptoms - electrolytes may be observed and need to be treated.

What to do when you forget 1 dose? However, if the time to relax with the next dose is too short, skip the dose and continue the calendar of the drug. Do not use double dose to compensate for missed dose.

    Warnings

Before using the drug you need to read the instructions carefully and refer to the information below.

    Contraindicated

ZT - Amox 200/28.5 mg BILIM 70 ml contraindicated in the following cases:

  • Patients with a history of allergies to any penicillin.
  • Reacting crosses with beta - lactam antibiotics may be observed.

  • Patients with a history of jaundice or impaired liver function due to the use of amoxicillin/clavulanic acid or penicillin.
  • Be cautious when using

If an allergic reaction appears, the medication must be stopped and appropriate treatment. Serious anaphylactic reactions require immediate emergency treatment with epinephrin. Oxygen, intravenous transmission of steroids, respiratory control including internal intubation should be indicated.

Because fake colitis can develop due to antibiotic use, in the event of diarrhea, fake colitis should be taken into account. Although the penicillin is very low toxicity, the periodic assessment of the function of the organs including the kidneys, liver and hematuria function should be performed during prolonged treatment.

There is a high proportion of patients with single -blood leukemia when using ampicillin. Therefore, antibiotics should not be used for ampicillin family for patients with single -blood leukemia. The possibility of superinfection caused by pathogens such as fungi and bacteria should be noted during treatment. If the superinfection appears, the medication must be stopped and/or set the appropriate treatment.

Patients with impaired renal function: ZT - Amox mixture is not recommended for patients with creatinine clearance

Patients with liver function impairment: Be careful when using drugs for patients with impaired liver function and need to monitor liver function regularly.

The ability to drive and operate machinery

The drug can affect the central nervous system such as mixed, drowsiness, insomnia and can affect the ability to drive and operate machinery.

    Pregnancy

Classification: B. There is no clinical safety evidence about the use of drugs during pregnancy. ZT - Amox should only be used during pregnancy after considering the ratio between benefits/risk.
