Varicular failure

Varicular failure's disease overview

What is

What are the veins?

Normal blood from the heart to feed the body through the arteries and return to the heart through the vein. Blood from the foot returns to the heart through the mechanisms: the contraction of the calf muscles push the blood (muscle pump), the one -way venous valve system prevents blood from back. Disorders of these mechanisms causes blood to return to the heart, causing blood stasis in the veins and causing intravenous failure.

Traine failure (lower venous insufficiency) is defined as a functional impairment of the leg vein system due to vein valve (of a shallow or deep vein system or deep or deep or deep vein system or both). Varicose veins (Loten veins) is the zigzagging and running of shallow veins (3mm vertical position> 3mm)

The consequences of blood stagnation in the lower limb increases venous pressure thereby affecting capillary circulation and causing chaos.

Is the leg veins dangerous?

Varicular failure is a relatively benign disease, usually only causing discomfort when operating and affecting aesthetics in severe cases.

Causes of Varicular failure's disease

Fairy vein:
  • Due to genetic disorders of idiopathic varicose veins
  • Secondary veins:
  • The leading cause is the sequelae of deep vein thrombosis (posterior venous venous disease)
  • due to pinched: tumors, cockett syndrome
  • Due to hemodynamic side: pregnant women
  • Symptoms of Varicular failure's disease

  • legs, ankles (can be edema on one side of veins), supporting edema when high foot
  • Foot pain when walking and supporting when resting
  • Feeling of calf stiffness, itching
  • Cramps
  • Change skin color due to nourishment (skin turning brown) is usually near the ankles
  • There may be ulcers on the face in the lower leg, near the ankle if the late stage
  • Shallow veins

Transmission route of Varicular failure's diseaseVaricular failure

People at risk for Varicular failure's disease

  • History of deep vein thrombosis
  • Old age

    obesity

    Pregnant women

  • Family history of some people also infected
  • stands a lot, sitting for a long time (increasing venous pressure in the foot over time)

    Prevention of Varicular failure's disease

  • Avoid standing for too long, sitting for too long, not sitting in a cross -legged posture that hinders vein back.
  • Exercise: Walking muscles is stronger, the ability to push blood is improved

  • Improving legs when sleeping
  • Wearing pressure
  • Nutrition: reduce fat, enhance fiber, avoid constipation
  • Diagnostic measures for Varicular failure's disease

In addition to clinical examination with procedures (Schwartz, Trendelenburg), vascular doppler ultrasound is the main exploration used. Venous doppler ultrasound can detect reflux lines, evaluate valve level.

    Varicular failure's disease treatments

How to treat leg veins? Currently, there have been many advances in the treatment of intervention as well as surgery, there are minimally invasive methods that have brought high efficiency.

    Drug treatment

combination of flavonoids, diosmin, hesperidin (Daflon) can improve symptoms

    Wearing pressure socks

used when diagnosed with venous insufficiency, backup when working a lot, during pregnancy.

    Interventions
  • burning laser or radio frequency: is the most common method used today. The catheter is inserted into the venous veins, under the effect of venous temperature will be destroyed, then the stagnant blood in the leg will decrease. Treatment by this method patients may not need to be hospitalized (discharged during the day).
  • Intravenous injection: Often used in complex cases. Currently rarely used. The fiber is injected into a shallow vein, which damages venous veins, resulting in a thrombosis that clogged vein. This method may have dangerous complications if injected into the artery as acute embolism, which is at risk of amputation.
  • Surgery
  • Stripping surgery: Take all large veins, small veins of impaired
  • Chiva surgery: Mark the venous position with reflux with Doppler ultrasound then tie or remove the veins that cause reflux.

  • Muller surgery: When there are shallow veins, enlargement of zigzag, conduct small incision next to the shallow vein position, then use specialized tools to remove static This circuit.
