  • Trulicity should be stored in a refrigerator at 36°F to 46°F (2°C to 8°C) until you need to use it.
  • You can leave Trulicity out of a refrigerator, at room temperature that is not over 86°F (30°C), for up to 14 days and still use it.

    • Trulicity (dulaglutide) is an injectable medicine that may be used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes in adults. It may also be given to reduce the risk of major adverse cardiovascular events (such as a heart attack or stroke) occurring in adults with type 2 diabetes who already have cardiovascular disease or are at high risk of cardiovascular disease.

    Trulicity mimics the action of GLP-1, a naturally occurring hormone that helps to regulate blood glucose levels. Trulicity should be kept refrigerated at between 36°F to 46°F (2°C to 8°C) until it needs to be administered.

    Allow Trulicity at least 30 minutes to warm up to room temperature after taking it out of the refrigerator to make receiving the injection much more pleasant. The best way to warm it up is to leave it sitting on a bench. A microwave oven, boiling water, or a stove should never be used because this may ruin the medicine. You could also place the injection between your hands to warm up to speed the process up.
